Very cute!

I would invest in a cup before I tried it...just in case. :p

I use MyWOD

I have made a recipe similar to this for years using a mason jar. It is great!

Here is a real good one: http://www.amazon.com/Help-Apartment-Has-Kitchen-Cookbook/dp/0618711759

My insurance company pays for consultation with a dietitian, maybe yours would as well. Personally, while it is always nice to hear about what worked for different people I still prefer to talk to an expert who can tailor something to me specifically.

I think I could seriously eat an entire jar of almond butter or cashew butter in one sitting. It is so good!!

This is a smaller group so you should not expect immediate answers to all your questions. :) As far as your question goes in addition to any advice you get on here you may want to consult with your coach and/or a registered dietitian.

Looks like you are the winner! I gotta say, Dave Castro cracks me up. He really tries to milk these announcements for all they're worth. I kinda get the impression that he's dropped the "don't you know who I am?" card at a CrossFit gym or two in his day.

I <3 the comments by @monkeydharma and @Akimajuktuq

Now that would be interesting indeed...

Regarding your food; you should consult with a registered dietitian or nutritionist. Most insurance companies cover the cost of the visit but you may need to consult with your primary care physician first. Regarding your body; are you tracking your body fat percentage or just your weight? You might have a number in mind…

It's not your fault that your hormones are out of control. Don't beat yourself up.

Your life would really be much better if you had a husband and children. Look into it.

That is fantastic!

OP - I will echo what has already been said in regards to your smoothie in that I would think the banana and strawberries likely made it sweet enough. In other cases where I want to add sweetness to a recipe I only use honey (local & raw if available/convenient) or maple syrup. I don't use stevia so I can't speak on how…

I agree 100%. Since I lost a lot of weight and starting living a healthier lifestyle almost three years ago I have not had to take a single sick day from work. I think the worst I have had in these three years is a runny nose one day.

I tend to stay away from supplements all together. In this US they are not very well regulated. In my mind, if I can't get the nutrition I need from actual food then I am eating the wrong things.

PaleOMG.com is one of the best Paleo recipe sites around. Also, this recipe is basically paleo if you switch out butter for ghee (which I did.) http://blog.myfitnesspal.com/chicken-brussels-sprouts-with-mustard-sauce

I have seen a lot of people say this, but it only makes sense if you never log your workouts. I log all my workouts and PRs using the myWOD app so if I ever want to know how I am doing today versus last year I can do that anytime, not just when the Open is happening.
-
Last night during the broadcast they talked about how tough this will be on your grip so be careful pals!
-
As I mentioned before, if my gym programs one of the Open workouts for a day I plan to be there then I will do it but otherwise I am not going to participate. Now that we're on the eve of the start of the Open, who else is joining me on non-participation island??

Here is a review of the Metcon's: https://joelxfit.wordpress.com/2015/01/22/updating-review-nike-metcon-1

Agreed. I have made many recipes from that site.

I found the exercise database entry for "calisthenics" and used the same value to create my own diary setting for "CrossFit."

Or you can simply recognize that you're not going to be amazing at everything and realize that is perfectly fine. You don't always have to work your weaknesses just because someone says you should.
