No need to explain your adjustments, you like your food the way you like it. I've gotten used to being a complete pain at restaurants. The only benefit of my dairy allergy, it cuts all the fat out.

Absolutely. In fact, at a certain point, it's preferred. Of course, it really depends on the situation. But, in general, it's easier for me to connect with those who dare to try than those who don't. I am not of the mind that divorce is necessarily a failure.

Thanks for the tips! I'm gonna be somewhat active. I'm planning to go swimming every day and I'm sure there'll be a great deal of walking. I guess this will be a good test of being MFP-free. I'm allergic to dairy, so I guess I'll focus on eating plenty of veggies and try to stay active and hydrated. May consider logging…

Ketchup sandwiches are totally normal!!! My gross outs were these coffee-softened cheese salteen melts Dip chunks of cheese into hot coffee wait for cheese to melt scoop onto salteen crackers squish together enjoy the melty, coffee, cheesy goodness If I weren't allergic to dairy, I'd have one now. DELISH!

Exercising even a little a day and eating lots of vegetables has been the key for me. Not only do they fill you for few calories, but the make you healthy too (also a goal of mine).

Thank you all very much! Yesterday must've been a full moon because everything seemed to go wrong. I just called in sick today and have to be cautious not to return tomorrow with a tan ;-). I will keep the healthy snacks on hand and be sure I go to the gym afterwards to release the frustration .

Yes. Like you, i used to work out regularly and not sweat. Well--for me--it was because I wasnt working out hard enough. I always used to brag that eewwww, I NEVER sweat. Adding resistance to the elliptical fixed that fallacy. Oh, and now that i'm sweating, I'm actually losing weight.

BRILLIANT! Thank you for this post and what has struck me the most is how much we inadvertently feast all the time. For me, realizing that NOT EVERY MEAL NEEDS TO BE A FEAST is what helps me stay on track.
