I got this tasty little recipe from my Weight Watchers days :) CAKE in a MUG Combine one box of angle food cake (the kind that you just add water and cook) and one box of cake mix (any flavor). Mix them together, I just put them both in a big ziplock baggie and shake it up. This makes 16 servings. Then take 1/3 cup of the…

Have you ever made Cake in a Mug? One cake with 1 tablespoon frosting is 100 calories. Served warm, this always satisfies my cupcake craving. :)

QOTD: Do you eat back your workout calories? Why or why not? I'm still experimenting with how many calories I should eat back. I find that when I eat back all of my calories, I gain. Some days I eat half and some days I don't eat any back. That's when I lose. Ideally, I'd like to train my body so that I can eat all my…

Happy birthday! QOTD: My birthday is in March. I hope to be at my goal of 115 and it would be cool if I could jog 5k.

Hey there. I am hypothyroid. If I lose any weight, it comes off very slowly. So frustrating. Good luck with your specialist. I hope you find your correct dosage soon.

Thanks Joimichele. I'm looking forward to our Spirit week. For those who want to add the logo to your signature, please message me and I will email you the link.

Oops, Sorry Jen. I accidentally missed your name. Props to you for losing 3 lbs for team Yellow this week. :) QOTD: Gosh, I don't listen to anything on my walks and jogs. I have my son in his stroller, so I'm usually chatting with him. When I do my workout DVDs, it's whatever music they have on their soundtrack. I know,…

Same here. Bought my polar ft 4 from amazon last month. It's awesome.

Great week everyone. Your success is inspiring. :) A special shout out goes to my girl, AleenaZ, who had the biggest loss for the yellow team. Way to go!
-
Hey Joimichele. What do you think about the new logo? See my siggy below...

Tough call. There's no telling how she will react. The worst case scenario is that she gets self conscious and stops logging her food honestly, or quits MFP altogether. We wouldn't want that to happen.

Same here. I try to work out every day that I can. There will always be days that I can't fit in a workout, for whatever reason. Those days default as my "rest" day.

QOTD 9/1/2011: What is the worst thing you ever did as a child? I am the oldest child and i used to always make my little bro ask for treats and permission from my parents because I thought he had a better chance of getting what he wanted. And, if they said no, they would scold him instead of me. Lol. QOTD 9/2/2011: If you…

Way to go. It must feel so nice to have all those minutes out of the way already. Your exercises for the next couple of days will be a bonus! Woohoo! QOTD: I honestly would probably take the easy way out and let myself be chubby and fit in with society. However, if my health was being compromised, I would change my…

I think since we still have at least 5 active members, our group is still alive. If we get down to 3 or less members, maybe we should think about combining. what do you think?

Hi. Welcome to MFP. I've been on here since the beginning of July. The first 2 weeks are definitely the hardest. I actually gained a pound or two at the beginning even though I was within my calorie limit and increased my exercise. I figured it was because my body was getting used to a new lifestyle, and maybe gaining…

Hello Diamonds. Today is my first day with DITR and I'm so happy to be here. I am part of the Yellow team. :) I look forward to getting to know you ladies as we all go through this weight loss journey together. o0IrishEyes0o: Yikes, I'm so sorry to hear about your car. I'm glad that you and your family are safe otherwise.…

Joimichele, do you want to open the group to recruit more moms? I will send you the logo soon :-)
-
Amazing. You look absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations with your success.

Hi I'm Susie. I love the idea of partnering up with someone to keep each other accountable. I am trying to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I have a lot of support and encouragement to offer! :)

Hey Joimichele... I thought of a name for our group. How about "Moms on the Move"? We all seem to be pretty active and I thought the name describes us appropriately. I won't be offended if you don't go for the name. Just thought I'd throw it out there. Also, I work as a graphic designer and can design a logo/banner…

Don't get discouraged. Since you have little to lose, the pounds will probably drop slowly. 1/2 - 1 lb a week is a healthy loss. Your six pound loss is nothing to scoff at. You should be proud. :) You're getting healthy and fit! Keep it up.

Oh yeah ... I love me some Adam Levine. That guy is H-O-T!!!!

Thanks for sharing that blog post. She's funny. I can't really pass judgement either. Like previous posters said, maybe it's the word "diet" that sends the wrong message. "Maggie Has a Healthy Lifestyle" might be a better title.

Thanks guys. All of you are so helpful:smile:

congratulations! You're doing amazing.

Aug 15 weigh in - 125.5

Good to know. Thanks for the tip. And congratulations on your weight loss. Your results are incredible.

Congrats on giving up smoking. I think you'll find this site very helpful.

I'm 5'2" also. Glad to see other shorties on MFP. :) I started MFP at 130. Current is 125.5. My mini goal is 117 and I'd love to maintain anywhere from 112-115. I felt my healthiest at that weight. Anyone who wants more support, please add me!
