Not sure what stage ur on since there is no bench press in 1 or 2. However when I used to follow SL5x5 I used the bench rack at the gym and did just fine without a spotter. Same here, I follow TDEE-20% and have my macros set at 40/30/30. Some of the meals in the book are pretty good though :D

Agree MFP really should put a disclaimer or something in bold flashing colors stating its NET 1200 so eat ur god dam wo calls back. That should stop half of the 1200 cal post, the other half well that's another matter.

I haven't looks at the meal plans at all. Pretty much skipped over it since I am doing IF. Try to keep my macros at 45/30/25 with 1800 cal goal. Not much weight loss but I can see better definition all over and getting stronger.

prefer treadmill over running outside as I find it much easier and less distracting trying to dodge ppl (no free space where I live), However since I want to race in a 5K and hopefully a 10K by end of this year, I will start running outside once the weather improves.

why would you want to pass on spending time with your friends. Personally I would just ask them to have healtier options too or just bring snack i want to eat with me. Seriously you can not expect others to change their ways for you but you can control what you eat.

scale is good advise, However if you are like me and don't want to use the scale for every single piece of food then eye ball it as best you can. You can log per grape ( i.e. 1 Red, Green, Purple Seedless grape is 3.4 cals ), do same for most fruits.
