Returning to MFP as well, as I gained all my weight back during pregnancy. For working out, suggest u check out the group classes or if can afford a few Persoal trainer sessions so they can show u the ropes. I also loved Nia Shanks workouts first time around.

Absolutely, I think that was my downfall too, stop logging when I reached my goal weight last time. The baby was just added weight gain.

FR send & accepted, glad to find new moms in the same situation as me. It’s difficult looking after a baby and trying to lose weight. It’s all a juggling act.
-
Hi teddilea, send u an FR and hope we can help each other learn about nutrition and reach our goals.

<<---- The smallest one in the pic is a lemon quest bar. Made 2 batches, Almond Crunch & Chocolate PB. They are the exact size & weight as a real quest bar. Yes I opened one & measured LOL. Its a bit more chewy in texture and sticks to teeth, could be due to to much liquid (almond milk instead of water). Used ON French…

Don't care myself as long as they don't do it while taking over an equipment for hours. I exaggerate, but if they want to play with the phone in between sets or off in some corner it doesn't effect or bother me.

skipped over the debate regarding Lasagna or not Lasagna. Looks delicious & a great side dish with chicken. Thx for positing.

Doesn't seem like she is forcing you to eat the food she cooks. Just make your own & join them for dinner. Seriously when I am over at my parents they always have a ton of food ( healthy or not) and the day ends with either cake, ice cream or whatever they want. Mom offers once or twice and some days I partake other days I…

Thanks for posting !!! I was reading and thought WOW what a **** I would have punched her out ... kept reading & realize how right you are, we treat & see ourselfs in such a negative light most of the time... never good enough. For me, being positive is still a work in progress, but glad to see I am not the only one.…

Instead of quoting a single sentence, try to see the message in the whole post. Its about not letting a single day define your whole journey. How would wallowing in guild & feeling miserable cuz u were over cal goal one day help.

"Keep it sane and simple people" ^^ This is it in a nutshell. Love your attitude. ROCK on girl

YUMMY ... I'll have a bite or two  but I am surprised at the cal count, must have been one hell of a slice.

I workout 3 x week for 60 min each strength training plus 15-20 min HIIT. I'll add a bit of cardio here and there for 30-40 min for another 2 days. This seems to work better for me then working out 7 days/week, which I used to. I eat anywhere between 1600 - 2000k and have almost reached my goal.
-
I would just use the eggs and bread crumbs if it works and you like the flavor. There is nothing wrong with either one. That being said, from a flavor profile, I rather have a beef burger higher cals then 2 turkey burgers. But thats just me.

I don't have a set routine for non lift days, so it can be classes at the gym, running, spin etc. Its really just something to keep active and not get bored.

If you increased your caloric intake drastically it would also cause a temporary weight gain. Whenever increasing calories I always did it gradually, 100 per week till I hit my desired goal. As long as you are still eating at a deficit ( TDEE- % ) you will start to lose, patients is key

@ chuckles, my gym has 5 & 10 pound weight increments at the side to adjust. Or some gyms have manual weight bars ( not sure what they are called) lying around for the machines. Ask a staff member and I am sure they will help.

Great strength gains :flowerforyou: and you look awesome !!! Just finished stage 1 myself and playing around with stage 2 to achieve a comfort level with the different exercises. Seems complicated to me as we'll but no harm in giving it a try:)) Good luck !!

That's great, wish I had the space to create my own home gym. I can only imagine that it makes working on form or just fooling around the gym much easier.
