Time to look for another doctor or at least get a second opinion. What scares me is, if she/he could be this misinformed about basic nutrition what else can she be misinformed in. It would really make me doubt anything else she/he has to say.

Love my PT, she is absolute fabulous and has not just motivated me to workout but also thought me how to do so on my own. Send you a FR, I fully agree. I am mostly eat 'clean food' but will indulge myself in things I really like once in a while and this includes going out and having a nice dinner and a class of wine or two with friends.

No, I was pretty skinny until I moved to Canada at 15. The weight started slowly to stick to me, I believe it was due to the change in the types of food consumed.

both, I've been losing steadily doing 3 x strength training and cardio while eating at a deficit. Just balance your workouts with eating not to feel tiered all the time.

It depends on the situation, yes in general if someone is eating all junk food I will probably skip commenting on their diary and if the situation warrants send a PM. I only log my workouts (i.e. gym) since I want to track those. All other activities, such as shopping, cooking, regular walks are part of my daily life, I don't see a reason personally to keep track of those.
