Tagging for my topics...thanks for posting!!

I'll only speak for myself, but heat and humidity raises my heart rate when I run as well...you have to work a lot harder when the temperatures start going up. Be careful, and just take it easy when you need to. If this is the warmest weather you've run in, then you'll probably just have to acclimate to the weather. Just…

Actually, I do...and I think this may be my problem. I realize the difference is only 130 cals or whatever, but added up for a month, that probably explains the 4ish PITA pounds that won't go away. Big fat duh for me. Seeing how I've been on MFP for as long as I have, I should have figured that out. Thanks to all of you!

Glad to see everyone pushing play and doing so well...and hi to the newbies! Back & Biceps done today...felt pretty strong, and I'm confident that I can increase weight on some of the exercises. It got pretty late, so I opted to skip abs tonight- plan to get them in tomorrow morning, though. Day 31 done...really…

Started up Week 5 today with Chest, Shoulders & Triceps...pretty humbling to say the least. Those one-handed pushups were no joke! I was pretty happy to get back into lifting and Ab Ripper X. So, yay for that.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms! :flowerforyou: Started Week 4 today (yay recovery week) with Yoga...today was my first time forcing myself to do the entire workout, and I actually really enjoyed it! My legs are usually pretty tight, so it was a really nice change of pace. And, no...I can't do the Crane either.…

Week 3 done, bring on recovery! I missed Legs & Back yesterday, so I did that plus Kenpo this morning. Feeling great, just hungry. Got a really great burn, so I'm off to go refuel. Have a great weekend!
-
Shoulders & Arms/ARX done...was able to increase my reps on all of the exercises, and starting to feel less wiped so I'm calling it a win! Day 18 done.

I really needed to read this, thanks for posting. Today will be Day 15 for me, and I really can't see much of a visible change to my body...but I feel stronger, can do more reps, and just got a PR in the half marathon I did this past weekend -yet, I was (am) still frustrated that I can't SEE the difference.
-
I'm starting Week 3 of the Classic program, and would love some added support/accountability...so hi!:flowerforyou:

Hey yall! Just popping in to stay accountable. Yesterday, I skipped the Kenpo and did X Stretch in order to prepare for today's half marathon. Wish I could have gotten the cardio in, but I needed to give my legs a break after Legs & Back on Thursday...no matter how low impact, a 2 hour workout didn't sound like a good…

Week 2, Day 4 in the bag...whoo hoo! Did Shoulders & Arms this morning, and planning to squeeze in Ab Ripper this evening. Not so much looking forward to Legs & Back tomorrow since I have a race on Saturday...but the recovery drink seems to help with soreness, so I will let it work. Keep up the good work everyone!
-
Day 9 in the books...did Plyo today, and it was a little tougher today since it was so warm, but I made it through. Pretty hungry (what else is new? ) but feeling good. Keep pushing play!!

Week 2 Day 1 in the bag! Had a really great Chest/Back workout...now that I have the pull-up bar to use, I feel like I'm going to get a lot more out of it. Also got in the AbRipper X..that's brutal, but I just did what I could and took the breaks. Eventually it will get easier. I hope. I was able to find a recovery…

Did Cardio X this morning so I could get myself back on schedule for Yoga tomorrow. Being all impatient to start threw my schedule off! Keep bringing it! :drinker: Oh, before I forget...I know I should be using some kind of recovery drink, but I really hate creamsicle/orange flavored anything and can't bring myself…

Week 1, Day 2 in the bag. I  the Plyo workout. Bought my pull-up bar today, and just HAD to try it out...I was able to do 1.5 pull-ups all on my own...so proud of myself!
-
Week 1, Day 1 in the books. My running partner got sick and bailed on me this morning, so I decided to start today so I could get a workout in. I don't have a pull up bar yet, so I used the band I have...definitely looking forward to using the bar, as I think I'll get more out of it that way. All those push-ups had me…

Mine arrived today in the mail, and I'm planning to start on Monday...look forward to working out "with" y'all! :flowerforyou:

With that kind of weather, you need EXTRA electrolytes. IMO, part of the problem was that you cut your Gatorade with water. That's not such a huge deal in cooler weather...but when it's warm like that, you want to be extra careful. Your race is coming up, so in the few days before, you'll want to make sure you get enough…

Same here! My license weight, from 5 years ago -which was accurate at the time, is almost 60 pounds heavier than where I am now. No way I'm ever going back.
-
Mine's WAY too high...got it in 2006 when I actually weighed around 200 and was honest. Now I'm down to 145 and CAN NOT WAIT to renew it this year. I want my new picture!!
-
I *love* pepperoni rolls! I'm not in WV anymore, so I make my own with the canned pizza dough...or homemade dough, if I'm feeling ambitious. Now, I'm hungry for them! (Let's go, Mountaineers!! :flowerforyou: )
-
You were beautiful before, but now you look so much happier and healthier that it makes you stunning! Congrats on the great work! :flowerforyou:

I weigh exactly the same thing now as I did this time last year, but am at least 1 size smaller. Seems like it is changing all the time.

Hi everyone :flowerforyou: I'm not new to MFP, or to maintenance, but I just stumbled upon this thread...nice to find a group that I can relate to a little better. I've met some great people along the way, but it gets tough with all the talk of losing when I'm trying to be happy where I am. Well, some about me...I've been…

Way to go Lyndsey...you look great!!!!

Hi :flowerforyou: I'm new to the thread, but not to maintenance or to MFP...Love the boards and such, but it's nice to find some other people who can relate to my struggle. I feel kind of out of place at times since I am really not trying to lose anymore. Hope to get to know some of you.

Mmmm, sounds good...thanks for sharing!!!
