You look wonderful...way to go!!!!

It makes me feel good when I do...and of course I like the extra cals to play around with. Sure am planning on my 8 mile run tomorrow morning for just that reason!

The journey has its rough patches, but I enjoyed it and still do. There's no part of being 100+ pounds overweight that I ever want to do again...I am no longer that person. I love pushing myself to lift heavier or run faster than I think is possible...and it's been wonderful meeting so many motivated, active people. The…

Hey ladies, just peeking in to say hi and log my food (yes, you read that correctly. Yay me!). Feeling strong and in control. Love it. And I am all for the 'no triggers' rule. Love to all.

I've lost 105 pounds and been at goal/maintenance for just over a year and a half...here's what worked for me: 1. Set a non-weight goal. Strive to get stronger, improve your workouts, take up a new activity. Personally, I took up running. Started out barely able to run for a few minutes when I started Couch to 5k back in…

Do what makes you happy. I'm doing my Chalean Extreme just because I want to use the weights I got for Christmas..but if you decide not to, the world won't go into a holding pattern and you won't ruin your hard work. Merry Christmas!

Lost 105 pounds total, the last 25 with MFP...and Dec 3 marked 1 year, six months for me keeping it off. Be back later. Oh yeah, been on MFP since Sept 08.

Good luck to all! No winter races for me...I got snowed out of 2 last year, so I'm not taking that chance again. But I do train and socialize with my running group in this nonsense.

That's awesome...congrats!

Hey kids. Still alive and mostly kicking...have had some nagging pain since Baltimore that got pretty bad yesterday, so I'll be calling to make a doctors appointment tomorrow. I'm nervous because this is my first "injury" but I'd rather go get it looked at now than keep pushing and make it worse. Do not want. Julie-…

I won't speak for anyone else, but everyone was EXACTLY like I imagined and how they come across in email.

There aren't enough words to express how grateful I am to have you all in my life. I love you all. *muah*

A friend of mine posted that video to my Facebook about 3 weeks before my marathon, and I just sat there weeping as I watched. So amazing. And, yes. Couch to 5k is awesome...I graduated May 16, 2009.

*ears perked* Richmond? I could perhaps be persuaded to do that one again. Awesome race...just sayin'.
-
Hey kids, Just in from Richmond...Best. Race. Ever. My time goal was 2:30, which is the qualifying time for the National Marathon in March...completely smashed it, and PR'ed in the process. So excited. Official time was 2:19:23! Can't believe it. What happened to the not-all-that-fast girl? Made no attempt to log my food…

OK, accountability... Over one day this week. Lost 0.4 lbs (I'm set for a half pound per week, so I am happy with this) May be going over today, as I've got the half tomorrow. Eeeep! If I don't get back in here before I hit the road, have a great day! 2:30 or bust!

Way to go! :flowerforyou:

Hi Jess! That's awesome about your friend's DD getting into the Naval Academy...I live 30-35 minutes away from there. Annapolis is a gorgeous town.

B- I always end up with the stalking ads too. I'm getting P90x, running shoes, wedding stuff and cruises. Fun times. Leash- Stalk away! Well, today was kind of a forced rest day...I'm tired, and had the worst cramps I've had in flipping years (Sorry, guys.)...so I just came home, ate dinner and relaxed. No sense in…

Hey kids, just checking in really quick during my lunch break. I got up this morning and packed this nice, healthy lunch and these nice healthy snacks. Guess where it is? I'll wait. On my damn counter. Ran (figuratively, not literally) to the grocery store and scored an awesome deal on a few cans of emergency soup, so now…

OK, I'm gonna get myself on the public humiliation train..BTW, are these general goals or "end of the year" goals? Current weight 146-147 (scale needs new battery and that was the last I remember...up from 141 in May) Goal 140ish, depending on how I look/feel..that may be too low since I am tall. My real goal is to lower…

What have I been missing over here????
-
Before, at well over 250 After, Oct. 16, 2010...crossing the finish line of the Baltimore Marathon
-
Nope, I live near Baltimore...but I graduated from WVU. We try to make it to a game at least every other year. Loved it out there.
-
From one Mountaineer to another, congrats on the weight loss...you look great!
-
I'm still here...doing my last long run this weekend which will be 20-22 miles, then taper time. T minus 26 days to 26.2!!
-
I can't help either, because I'm sitting here eating it with my veggies...and spread some on my sandwich too! I have the Tribe Spicy Chipotle this time, but might have to switch it up after seeing some of these other ones y'all listed!
-
Damn girl, you're looking great...keep up the awesome work!
-
I'm going to agree with the shoes, and add that you may want to take it to a zero incline, at least until your body is more acclimated. Doing too much too fast = injury waiting to happen.

I'm in the area. Could be fun. :flowerforyou:
