I am aware of how the program works. But I would say its more effective to calculate it yourself rather than wait until 10lbs lost for maximal results. Even after you lose 1 lbs, your caloric maintenance changes.

a good baseline is to find a celebrity or model that you want to look like based on similar height and go from there. It gives a good visual image of the kind of body that you're aiming for.

When actively trying to lose weight, nothing wrong with being under your calorie goal =). hey as long as you're safely at a caloric deficit it doesnt hurt. Also, I would suggest for every 3-5lbs you lose, readjust your calorie goal.
