I have the exact same problem.. when I am running I usually have to cut it short because of my shin splints even when i'm not that tired. I find that being really well warmed up helps. I usually walk for 30 mins before I start running and do not seem to have much problems.

It is yoga in a room that is about 100 degrees... seems like it would be great for arthritis! i was drenched in sweat when i left but very relaxed.
