I went with the polar v800 after reading reviews online and what I want it for, I like a HRM and for me I have always found it accurate to use alongside MFP. I’m nearly 7 stone down since I originally started and kept it off so it must be doing something right! Thanks for the reply 👌🏻😬

Thanks for the reply I guess because it’s a mixture of cardio then the weights and kettlebells I just like to have an overall idea of what I’ve burned, I’ve used my ft7 for 7 years and had no problems but I just wanted a newer similar version so will take a look at the ft60. Are any of the V or M new polar models any good…

I think for me I want one that tracks calories burnt most accurately GPS is a nice feature but most of my work outs in the gym so I guess it’s just accuracy on calorie burns... I’m not sure out of newer models which polar ones are best and I know nothing about Garmins so just interested to see what a lot of people on here…

Hi, I'm 5ft 8, I started at 16 stone 8lbs and in the second pic I was 12 stone 4lbs. I've put on just over a stone again over last year so back to logging again today.

Amazing!!! Well done!

We actually discussed this in the office at work yesterday, I blame the parents. There was a girl in the news who was 14 years old and a size 24 weighing 24 stone. To me it is no different than not feeding your child enough and them starving them, it is a form of abuse to over feed them and you are not caring for your…

Not even just on a cross trainer or treadmill but generally WHY are people even wearing 'fur lined crocs' anyway.....rank lol

Th HRM will be correct (unless you get it checked and it proven faulty) MFP and the machines in gym tend to well over estimate. You may just be fitter than you think, at 16 stone I would burn 750 - 800 cals in an hour on a crosstrainer, now I only burn around 400, its just because I am fitter than I used to be and not as…

I agree with the above, also I only eat back half. It is really up to the individual but I was set at 1200 and was burning around the same and just ate back half and it works for me x

You have done so well, we are all really proud of you and you are a very good and supportive MFP friend too. We all have the 'dancing pics' where we thought at the time we looked the nuts so dont worry, atleast now when you are dancing really do look the nuts!! Keep up your hard work, you are a star xxx

No probs, I was confused with it too. Your see 'NSV' alot too which means non scale vistory such as jeans feeling looser, basically something that is non scale related!! There weird little sayings on here!! x

If you bump a topic you can then go back to it as it saves on your profile a thread you have commented on : ) x

Me too!! He is fit!!!!

You look like a new woman!! Well done x

Thats great well done. Its different for everyone, I have heard people say that a stone (14lbs) is usually a dress size. I have lost 41lbs and dropped nearly 3 (not quite yet though). Just keep up the good work, it will happen everyone different shapes and sizes. xxx

I was a complete non runner and was mainly doing the cross trainer at the gym, since I have started running it has toned my overall body so much more than the gym did. My legs, bum, stomach and back have all lost inches from running! x

Hi, I have recently bought Kettlercise, although it is good I dont think its one of the best and there is quite a 'low budget' feel about it to be honest. Kettleworx although abut more expensive are meant to be fantastic. Kettle bells are great though and you will certainly notice the difference, good luck x

They are the best results pics for the 30ds I have seen on here!! well done xx

Hi, I have been doing kettle bells recently and used my HRM, they are generally pretty low burns as its more about strength (even thought the heart rate does go up) I burned approx 135 cals in 15 minutes. It will depend on your weight and height etc but dont let the low burns put you off doing it as they are very good. x

You look amazing!! Gorgeous hair too, well done x

Amazing what a difference it can make! You look like you have lost more!! Well done you its fantastic x

Hi, I only weigh every week or every other week. I dont have scales at home, I do see alot of people who weight every day which I personnal think is too much. Like you say, it becomes a little obsessive and I dont think its accurate anyway as day - day weight fluctuates due to water etc. Some people say they strip naked…

Nope, I do mine the night before alot of the time, I find it easier to plan my breakfasts and dinner firlst and know what I have left for lunch!
