I yell at the owners. I live in the city (leash law) and if their dog starts chasing me (and my dog who is on a leash) then they are going to hear about it. I hate irresponsible owners. On top of chasing people, it could get hit by a car too.

I like studio too. I like the human connection. My kids are in school during the day and my husband is at work (I work from home) so it's nice getting out in the "the real world" at least once a day, ykwim?

I count what MFP lists for "yoga" for flow/vinyasa but I don't count gentle (our gentle class is REALLY gentle though.) Like today, I do two classes (one flow, one gentle) and just count one.

I recommend a class too, a lot of yoga studios have a trial 2 weeks at a discounted rate. I have a Shiva Rea yoga DVD but it's not the same to me, I love the classes.

I started the vegetarian version of whole 30 (I'm a veg already) and was just trying it to see if it helped clear my hormonal acne and dropped 5 pounds in my first week (eating more calories than I usually do.) I am loving Whole30.

Alcohol stalls me. I stopped drinking at home (no night on the couch with a glass of wine/beer...or two) anymore. Only if we go out to Happy Hour once a month or a concert or some random occasion. My lower tolerance saves me some $$ now too, ha!

I've been maintaining for 8 years. My advice would be to walk everyday, at least 30 minutes. Don't give up the whole day if you mess up. Pick right back up the very next meal. Don't think "oh I screwed up this day, might as well make it worse and start over tomorrow." Also plan ahead, look up menus of places before you go…

Works for me! Been veg for three years and I feel great. Lots of energy, never get sick. I love animals. My husband and kids are not veg but they do eat a lot of veg meals (and "humanely raised" organic meat about 2-3x a week.)

You can also get "probiotics" from fermented foods. Kimchi, saurkraut, etc. I love fermented spicy lemons....an indian dish. I think it's an acquired taste though. LOL I am pretty sure you can ferment pretty much anything....there are tons of recipes on Pinterest...
