For me, when it comes to trigger foods that I can't control myself with I simply don't bring it into the house. If it's not there I can't over eat it. When I do want to have whatever that may be I buy the smallest portion possible and either do extra exercise to make up for it or I save calories for it. I tend to limit…

Over eating one day, or one meal doesn't have to lead to more. That may have been what you did before, but you have the power to write a different story. Stay well hydrated. Eat quality food, don't waste calories on junk food. Remember that this will pass once your body becomes accustomed to this change you won't feel hungry all of the time.

Consistently eating under 1200 calories per day is not healthy. You will be more likely to get sick and less likely to lose weight eventually. What are you eating now?

Are you satisfied on the days that you eat fewer calories? Are you eating beyond being full on your cheat days?

I like to use lentils in place of potatoes with my pot roast.

That sounds really frustrating. I'm sorry that you have to deal with that, but I hope you won't let that get you off track. Do you feel any less frustrated when you do get a good work-out after work?

I am not familiar with them, but I was able to look up their nutrition info here: http://www.biscuitville.com/menu/menudefault.aspx The low carb ham platter looks ok and so does the Low carb grilled chicken platter. Not a lot of healthy options from the looks of it though. Hope this helps.

When I have days that I know I am going to go over my calorie limit(like a special occasion.) I still log my calories. I find that helps me to keep it in perspective and have a more reasonable "splurge."
