Breastfeeding makes me SO HUNGRY. Those that have not nursed a baby, just don't know. Those first couple of months after my daughter was born I was hungry all the time. But, she was growing healthfully. It was good. But I also agree with other comments on here. Choose healthy sugars, IMO no energy drinks/coffee if you're…

BUMP! How are you people doing this?? I've been working out like CRAZY and am only down 20 something pounds in a year. For those who have posted their pictures: What workouts are you doing? And what # of calories are you eating? HELP!!

I have a similar case with a personal trainer. He basically said I NEEDED a trainer to lose enough weight to be healthy. I think you are right on. As long as you believe in yourself and put in the work, you are UNSTOPPABLE! Continue to tell him you're not interested...If he bugs you another time or two, go to the…

Bump Love all these recipes! Today I made: 1 zucchini diced 1 yellow apple diced 1 Turkey sausage link diced 1 lb lean ground turkey 1/3 c spaghetti sauce Cook the meat with some crushed red pepper. Add zucchini and apple till apple is tender (not soggy!). Add tomato sauce. Serve over quinoa or brown rice. YUM!

Today I was able to wear my engagement ring comfortably in the first time in 2 years. (The wedding band is sized a bit smaller than the engagement...that'll be some more time.) I'm stoked!!

Thats brilliant to do the upper body on the same day as the running! I'm going to try that. Thank you so much! Bump!

30 DS is awesome-I'm on day 11 (Day 1 of level 2). I've been pretty sick the last couple of days, I may have to postpone starting Level 2 until tomorrow or Saturday. I have only lost 1 lb, but have been visited by Mother Nature this week, so I expect that to change soon! I feel so much stronger and healthier since I…

Check out my diary. I think it depends on the type of food being consumed. Try to have protein with almost every meal and snack. Also, I think after a couple of weeks doing it, your stomach shrinks (not scientific, don't quote me  ), but the first 2 weeks were aweful. I had headaches and was so hungry, but now its…

I usually feel fine when I eat around 1300 ish calories (depending on how intense the workout was that day). So thank you! Its really good to know that I should be eating back some of my exercise calories & that MFP sets my deficit at my BEFORE workout calories. (Does that make sense? Lol). Thanks for your help everyone!
-
THANK YOU for that! He was so informational! Thank you thank you!!
-
OH! I didn't realize that I should be eating NET 1200 calories! Thank you! That is really good information to have. I'm definitely not NET ting enough calories.
-
Thank goodness I'm not the only one! My husband has been working with me to try and get enough protein (He knows a lot more about fitness than I do). I've been doing better on the protein, but still find it difficult to get over 100 g a day. Any advice on that? I've been taking an EAS protein shake after my workouts plus a…

Okay, but does that take into consideration my BMR? Or should I just focus on eating more and burning that much (I usually burn 600-1000 calories daily.)
-
Bump I could really use some advice. I eat between 1200-1300 cals a day, BMR around 1500 and I tend to burn between 600-1000 cals from exercise daily. What should I be eating to have maximum weight loss results??

Yay! Something for us shorties! I'm 5'1", and absolutely need help reaching the equiptment in the gym. Thank goodness I workout with my 6'10" husband. :) He's a sweetie to help me out. As for June, I lost 7 lbs, and 3 more so far in July! My goal is to get down to 185 (at least!) by the end of July. My highest weight in…

WOW! Great job! You look so good at 165!

Cardio AND strength training are best. I realize that some people are seriously pro strength training, but seriously, to loose the baby stuff (which is what I'm working on too BTW), you need to do both. I've been exercising regularly for only 2 1/2 weeks, doing strength training at least 2 days a week and cardio 2-3 days a…

If you eat less that 1200 cals per day, you're probably going to put your body in starvation mode and not even lose the 2 lbs much less more. So far in June my biggest loss for a week is 5-6 lbs (in a week). This is me eating 1200-1400 cals a day and exercising intensely. I think thats the way to go if you want to lose a…

Me! I'm hoping to lose more than that by October, but the support will be fantastic! Invite me! :D
-
Woah! That looks intense (just watched the video), but she was hilarious! I'm going to try! Good to know that I should take measurements and pictures. :)

Who cares what the stupid scale says?! You look fantastic. Great job!

Today, I ate more frequently (to keep the metabolism going) but still stayed in my calories! Also, I ran stadium stairs with the hubby-for 45 minutes. Then did push-ups even though my arms are still burning from yesterday's weight training. I feel full and so accomplished. Thank you for giving me a place to share my…

Bump! I really love this positive thinking. Thank you so much for starting it! Today was a struggle-it was a very hot day with no air condition in the apt or the car. So, I stopped and got a Sonic ice cream. However, instead of getting the biggest one, I got the smallest they offer (10 oz and it was 530 calories! Yikes!)…

I did C25K about 11 months ago, and have run 2 5Ks. I'm still slow, and I actually stopped running a couple of months ago. However, when I was running everyday, I got to the point when I could run 4 miles-without stopping! That, to me, was more important than my time. As you do it, and keep going, look for the little…
