Does someone have a bike that you could borrow? Maybe you could bike it on a day off just to see if its something you'd actually do? (Thats what I did when I lived in Boston) If its something you could do, then I say go for it- It would be great exercise :)

Well, Welcome to the forums in your case :) The calorie tracker is great but whats really great about this website as a whole are the people on it. We're all here (for the most part) for the same reasons. Whether its to lose weight, gain muscle, or just get in shape everyone is so supportive. Feel free to friend me :)

Um, Maybe you should try lean cuisines or something instead of those small toddler meals. Youll actually get the nutrients YOU need. Not to mention- theyre very bland. I have a 2 year old. I know.

How is 2lbs a week not realistic?
-
Yep- I second Vulrich's comment. Mine is at 1200 but Im on my feet all day and also have a toddler so when im not working,... im working. Plus I work out daily so my calories go up from that. Usually around 1700 or so. And it works for me.

5'1 its us small girls that they need to worry about!
-
Im 5'1 but considerably larger than you guys posting right now haha. I also havent measured. and dont really want to until I reach my goal weight. Figured id post so I dont lose this topic and can see what you all have to say.

Wow awesome, You can totally see it! You look great- keep it up!

Calories burned are determined by your weight. As others said, its very possible that theyre not exaggerating or making it up. And if they are- they're only hurting themselves... or not helping themselves. Why let it bother you. It doesnt effect you any.
-
I havent tried it but im sure its like anything, If you use it right im sure it will help. Drinking 3 times the amount youre supposed to... Probably not.
