I've been on for awhile. I am on everyday and log everything. Anyone can add me!

This thread just reminded me that I need to get a pair. I've been meaning to buy some for years. Thanks!

Even when I was extremely fit in high school I didn't have a thigh gap. I've never wanted one; in my opinion they make people look like skeletons. (Not to offend anyone with a thigh gap!)

We were going camping for Memorial Day weekend back in May and stopped at a Walmart for supplies on the way. My daughter (yes the one in my profile pic) decided she needed to potty, so we proceed to the front of the store to the restroom. It was quite full but there was a free stall, so we both go in the same stall which…

I started in Ocotber at 169 and am now 149. My loss is super slow but I don't care. I had plateaued prior to last week and decided I would change things up a bit by adding more food throughout the day and eating more "clean" stuff. I didn't increase my calories necessarily, just switched to less of the high-calorie options…

True story.

I also do a lot of elliptical for cardio (5 days a week for for 45-1hr on hills and high levels) and I do an hour of zumba 3x a week plus toning and weights. When I started noticing my leg muscles, at first I thought my muscles were growing. I measured and realized that my muscles weren't growing, they were just becoming…

 Flattered + offended = Flattened? Flattended? Offentered? Flattered + Insulted = Insultered....yeah...

Men are from Mars and all that... look, when a man says it, he means it as a compliment regardless of how we interpret it as women. Should they be more "sensitive"? :indifferent: They're from Mars, remember, and you're not. You can get offended if you want to, but who is the one that will ultimately lose sleep over it? Not…

Me too. I'll take some new friends!

I think a person probably would lose weight doing that. Just like when I lost weight doing Slim Fast (the "shake for breakfast, another one for lunch, and then a sensible dinner" diet) and those who have taken the Special K challenge have. It usually does cause weight loss. The problem is when you STOP doing it, the weight…

Me tooooooo!!! I eat Fage almost every morning. Today I had it as a mid-morning snack with some cucumbers. I like that it doubles as sour cream.

When I say crappy I mean loads cheese puffs, smores, and extra-burnt marshmallows lol. Thank you all for the fabulous options! I will definitely be using these! Now I don't feel so limited.

LOL! I love poo, too I guess!

Yes it does! I love Greek yogurt. I eat it all the time and substitute for sour cream always. The first time I tried it, I actually thought I'd bought sour cream by mistake. My 6 year old loves it plain also!

I'm always looking for new friends! Add me!

I'm from Tatum, TX but I live in Louisiana now :)

Pizza is a trigger food for me. I don't know if I'll ever be able to eat it in moderation. But I'm likely to keep trying to on occassion lol

Just keep in mind that your body does need a certain amount of fuel in order to function at healthy levels. Ask yourself if you'd be willing to drop below even 950 against the recommendations of a doctor in order to get to your goal weight faster. If the answer is yes, then you're willing to sacrifice your health for your…

Chucky movies for me too!

I need friends too! I've been a MFP user for awhile now but I never got involved in the community, probably because I didn't feel like I was going to be a "lifetimer". Now that I've completely changed my lifestyle and I KNOW its a long-term thing, I, too, am looking for others who are similarly motivated. Add me!!!! :)

I only burn that much when I have a VERY active day, including an hour of  Zumba:heart: and 45 mins to an hour of elliptical. I also don't always believe what I see. Regarding Zumba, those that use the check-in app sometimes assume that they really did burn the 650 calories that it donates without using a HRM.…

I think the belly you're concerned with could be most improved by exercise and the toning of your abdominal muscles to support your midsection. Huge congrats on your sobriety!

Thanks for posting this. I had the same question!

lol yup!

Thank you for posting this! This is why I am determined not to give up. I'm 32, and I knew that when I got in my 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s, I would look back and wish that I hadn't given up so quickly in my 30s. I have gone on diets before where I lost weight quickly but gained it back even faster when I stopped. I knew what…
