I'm so totally new at this, so hope I'm not being redundant with my QOTD!!! Here goes: How many days per week do you "really" do cardio? And do any of you try to get in some exercise more than once per day to get over a plateau? I'd love to say that I do something, even if it's just going for a walk, every day, but the…

I just decided that i'm too predictable! I had to really think to remember the last "new thing". I guess it was the recipe I found on the Whole Foods app for Broiled Tilapia with Parmesan and Herbs. A new favorite!

First of all, I'm excited to be a part of this group! Secondly, since I'm new to all of this, I hope I'm doing everything right! So, my first QOTD answer is: my skinny jeans. I actually have two pair: one a little larger, and one in the smaller size. So the first goal is the smaller pair!

I'm Kathy, and SO tired of going up and down with my weight. I lost several pounds about 6 months ago, when I was participating in a challenge. After that was over, it has gradually crept back on. I'm ready to get it off, and KEEP it off, this time. I obviously need some accountability, and think this may do the trick!

That's awesome! Doesn't it feel great?!?! I'm down one pound for the week - From 152.5 to 151.5. Yay! Hopefully, I'm back on track now.
-
LW: 152.5 (I think!) CW: 152.5 I'm okay with that. Will be able to get back on track this week. Woot!!!
-
Just curious . . . I've been putting my weight on the input page for the spreadsheet each week, but for some reason, I'm not listed on the new spreadsheet. Haven't been posting much due to my work schedule, but really have been logging in my weight every week. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas???
-
I know I haven't posted the last couple of weeks. Insanity at work for the last couple of months. Hope to be back on track in one more week!!! Basically, I've not been able to exercise at all, so have just been trying to keep my calories down. I've managed to "basically" maintain, but, obviously, can't lose any more until…

151.7 this week. No time to read or post much, but staying with my calorie goals. Wish I had more time to exercise, but, unfortunately, work calls this time of year. Heading that way now . . . exercise later today!!
-
151.4 . . . Down 1.5 for the week, and 7 since the beginning of the challenge. Woohoo!!!! I'm SO happy, because I am so busy at work that I've not been able to exercise the way I'd like. My PT says that, until I can pick the cardio back up, I should be glad just to maintain. So this makes me REALLY happy. Ready for warm…

152.9. Not where I want to be, but back in the right direction!!!

Well, bummer. I knew I was having a bad week, but had hoped that I maintained or only gained maybe a pound. 154.7 this morning. I HATE that! I think it's up 2.7. Long work hours really put a damper on my cardio, and too much sitting at a desk, staring at a computer made me reach for coffee rather than water. The problem…

154.7. Up, I think, 2.7. BAD WEEK!!!

I love the encouragement and positive thoughts that I get from being a part of this challenge! I'm at the point where, in the past, I would be feeling pretty good about what I've already lost, and slack up a bit. NOT THIS TIME!!! I'm determined to make this a permanent lifestyle change, and get all the way down to my goal…

Amazing!!! 152.4 this morning!!! Down 3 lbs for the week. Did I change anything? No, not really. Maybe I just finally jumped off of that plateau I've been hanging on to for the last 3-4 weeks. Thank goodness! i'm so excited!!!

2/4 - 60 minutes (tennis) 2/5 - 180 minutes (tennis) 2/6 - 60 minutes (tennis) Busy weekend!
-
This is great! Every DAY is a new start, a new beginning. This past week was really busy for me, and I let my exercise slide. On top of that, even though I stayed around my calorie range, I didn't get in many fruits and veggies. So maybe that explains why I was only down .6??? So . . . I'm starting over today. Back to…

2/4-60 (Tennis). Finally got started!

155.4. "Small" loss, but at least it's in the right direction. Time to straighten up and get serious again. I've let a busy schedule get in the way this week, but NO MORE! Priorites are set beginning TODAY. Congrats to everyone for the losses. Looks like a good week for most people!

A quick link to a permanent thread on MFP that I found a couple of weeks ago: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/9433-expectations It seems like several of us (me included) have hit the infamous "wall" that the writer talks about. I'm about 1 to 1 1/2 months in, and I seem to have hit a plateau that I can't get past.…

Round 2 - Gonna make it this time! One-week vacation in January blew it for me, but I'm determined to do 24 in February!
