Not heard about this but I am in England. She shouldn't be taking Asprin based meds with her being Asthmatic. It can bring on wheezing (I'm Asthmatic myself). Like you say she's a grown woman but if what she is taking is not safe, and she's aware of this then she will learn the hard way sadly. I hope everything goes ok.…

£26 a month for all gym, swimming and classes! I do 4-6 classes a week and they're all £5/£6 each so, it's well worth it! I have regular reviews, know my instructors and feel it's a bargain for what I get to be honest!

Get them on ebay or Gumtree, put the money towards your new wardrobe!!!

Hey Natalie, Welcome to MFP! This is a great site and the app is really handy! What's made you want to lose 28lbs? That puts you slightly underweight according to the BMI chart....see below. 5 ft 7 Weight 9 st 2 lb -11 st 6 lb Height: 1.70 m BMI: 58 - 73 In my honest opinion, my advice to you would be to increase your goal…

Fruit (and veg) are typically high in fructose (fruit sugar). Tropical fruit such as grapes, mango, pineapple and bananas are high in sugar. Limit the latter in your diet if you have a problem with carbs & sugars.

Thanks everyone!!!! :)

I know how many calories etc is in it, I just wondered what people deducted if they didn't eat the skin.

Hey there, Just read your post. It's perfectly normal to envy what people have or have accomplished if the thing is something you want for yourself. However, what works for one does not work for another and you need to draw a line under this right now. You need to work out what is important to you and use that as YOUR…

Hi there, Google Solgar, that's the one I was using! I've just swapped onto MyProtein and it's so much sweeter, but half the cost *sigh*!!!!

Hey! I have a an issue with carbs and sugars, this only came out once I went to see a Nutritionist! Having 20g per day is going to cause you to feel extremely tired! You have to remember that fruit and veg contain carbs, as do dairy so you'll really have to think about what you eat and drink if you were to go ahead with…

Hey, you should be having complex carbs with protein for your meals, when ate together, digestion is slowed! My advice to you would be two eggs on one piece of wholemeal toast. If you're still hungry, then have some fruit or do some lean bacon with it too!

I try to go 4 nights a week when I can!!!! When I don't, I can usually feel it the following week! However, this week, I'm only going twice as I've too much going on with going to a gig and going on holiday at the weekend! There's things to be bought lol

I think your family are complete c*ckheads for saying that about you, and you need to tell them to *kitten* off after they apologise to you for being quite rude and nasty.

You really have to be careful when it comes to eating enough. Someone who is 10st eating a deficit of 500 will affect them more, say compared to someone who's 15st which is why I think a % reduction works better. If you do a heavy duty job or a lot of exercise just make sure you are eating enough to fuel you through the…

This is my advice to you. Work out your TDEE from this link: http://www.jillianmichaels.com/fitness-and-diet-tips/determining-your-AMR This is your BMR x Daily Activity Rate + Daily calories burned (if you do exercise). This then gives you your TDEE, what you need to eat in order to maintain the weight you are at. As you…

Check this out: http://www.jillianmichaels.com/fitness-and-diet-tips/determining-your-AMR It explains how to calculate your TDEE, which is your BRM x Daily Activity Rate + Weekly Burn. In order to maintain your current weight, you need to eat this, to gain weight, I would suggest increasing it by 10-20% and to lose weight…

Well done mate! You can definitely tell you've lost weight and it's all over too!! Keep up the good work :)

I'm currently at 86.3kg, and I've lost 8.3kg since January this year. I eat 1900 cals a day, have Saturday and sometimes Sunday as a cheat day, and work out 4 nights a week (4-6 classes). I'm averaging around 0.5kg weight loss a week :)

Weight management is 80% diet and 20% exercise therefore you can quite easily lose weight without carrying out regular exercise. However, it depends on what your goals are. Like Ninerbuff stated, there's disadvantages to doing no exercise. For me personally, I've been going to the gym consistently since last summer but it…

How much weight are you wanting to lose? The 20kg that's on your tracker? My advice would be for you to up your exercise to 4-5 times a week, 1 hour blocks if you can. There's no need for you to be doing more than an hour really (of cardio). Vary the type of exercise you do too otherwise you'll get bored and your body will…

Hola! Here's my bit of bumph..... I'm not too sure how much weight she has lost in the past year but she is fat/overweight. I'm not saying this to be mean, it's a fact.....like there are underweight people in the world too. Of course, it depends on what your definition of fat is. Is it "soft" looking people or, those who…

I honestly didn't know what "cucumber" what was going to refer to lol

If I could afford not to work, or start later I'd do it in the morning as it really sets me up for the day! At present, I go 4 nights a week and tend to do 4-6 classes!

Hi there, what's your stats? What has made you watch these macros? 900 calories a day is really not enough as I highly doubt your BMR is that low and, if you are doing regular exercise, or a job where you're on your feet for a good part of the day, you'd need to eat more anyway. Unless you're obese and under medical…
-
Hey just saw this! My advice to you is to listen to your body. For all 500 calories a day (burn wise) is fine for some, it's not for others. I think it's important you give your body a rest at least 1 day a week otherwise you will do yourself damage in the long run, and it's not worth it. You need a diet and exercise plan…
