  • Honey Crisp and Gala apples.
  • I still feel like a fatboy even though I've had a few people say I could stand to gain a few pounds. I went from 292 to 172 currently and went from a 4X to a large. I still get that intimidated feeling like im fat albert when trying to approach girls and it annoys the crap outta me. I have realized that I've got to become…
  • I lost hope of ever going under a size 40 in men's (I was a 46). Now I can barely wear a 34 and will have to start looking at 32's :o
  • I was. It staying on here has helped me get off of metformin and glipizide. I'll add you on as I'm on here pretty regularly.
  • God,if someone knows, please share. I'm in the same boat and not sure how to lose it as well. I've tried cardio, lifting, and spot training and it doesn't work for me. I don't want to lose any more weight and would actually like to bulk up slightly and have a flat stomach.
  • Congrats my good man!!!
  • I've been there. Try gum to calm the oral fixation part for a cigarette, patches if you have a nic fit, and get a hobby that keeps you occupied. Dieting and working out has really helped me by flushing the nicotine out an replenishing my body with exercise, clean food, and water. It's annoying for the first week to month…
  • I'm currently bulking up now. I started with nothing but cardio to burn the weight. It definitely helped with stamina and endurance, but I wished I added some to help with strength and maintaining my metabolism. All that cardio striped some of my muscle away and makes weight training a bit more challenging . I'd do about…
  • LMAO. Exact same thing I am currently going through. When I was 286 I was like " oh it's no problem" when I saw mysel. I'm at 176 now and think I'm a whale when others want me to put on weight :o
  • I've went from 286 (highest was 295) down to 176 without pills, or strenuous diets. I followed a lot of different advice on here as just one way didn't work. Some of the things I follow are: - Try out different things that have health benefits instead of flock for burgers all the time. - Portion control ( about 50% of my…

  • Fantastic progess and continue on your journey. You can doooo itttttt!!!
  • Congratulations. Looking great and outstanding progress made!!
  • My mom is the same way. The funny thing is when I lost the weight, she thought I didn't look normal and is complaining about it. It just goes to show you some people will pull you down no matter what. Don't spend time worrying about what others think. You have a life to live.
  • Ahhhh. The age old question on here on whether weight training or cardio will burn belly fat. You need cardio for stamina, endurance and a flying metabolism You need weights for strength, muscle building, and toning. I'm not sure which program will work for you, but I would suggest following the advice of low sugar and…
  • I started at 286 and huffed my butt off just jogging 1/2 a mile. It took time with switch between walking and jogging but after a while I could do 2 miles a day. After about 3 months and 45 lbs gone I added running for 10 seconds every 1/4 mile and every week increase it by 5 seconds to adjust to running. Now i can run…

  • Hamburgaaaaaaaa. Hahahaaa. I love them and I'm surrounded by five guys, in n out, Wendy's, and jack in the crack. Help!!! J/K I've learned self control and to enjoy them once a week. I haven't gained weight and still have my crAvings filled.
  • I never really thought about it. I've been stuck in Big and Tall hell for the last decade so I've been limited on my selection. I'll have to find out what hipsters wear these days, but if it's those skinny jeans then no thanks. I couldn't fit those even if I were standing 6'10 170.
  • I put 270 when i was about 280 plus. Now I'm 208 and look so different than that pic.
  • Weight = Losing You = Winning Keep up the awesome work and be proud of what you've achieved. :glasses: :drinker: I'm turning 31 in October and will enter it at least 78 pounds lighter ( I went from 286 to 208 currently). Hopefully I can get it to 86 or lower by 10/22. My biggest problem is the State Fair of freaking Texas…
  • I wonder if my own brother is doing it to me. He constantly buys me candy and junk crap when I have asked him not to do it. All I hear is that "I think I'm too good now". He has a personal trainer and hasn't lost but maybe 6 pounds over the last 4 months. I have lost about 75+ pounds in 5 1/2 months due to working hard. It…
  • I say awesome. I have eaten nothing but diet and health foods for the last 5 months and yesterday I broke down with a handful of hot tamales candy. Thinking about me and my 4 piece chicken tender meal for breakfast, five guys double burger for lunch and chipotle dinner from the past I don't think a handful of candy for the…
  • I agree that you should take the day off and use portion control. If you exercise then just ramp it up a bit or eat something super healthy for a few meals to balance it out. You shouldn't have to feel bad or sad if you work your tail off all week and want to take a day off for a meal or dessert. This isn't a race or some…
  • I log it in beforehand in order to make sure I am not getting something ridiculous. Once I have a hang on whats good vs whats bad and get within 20 pounds of my goal then I can let off the gas pedal a bit.
  • Glad to see you trying something different
  • It happens. I wouldn't worry so hard and just work a bit more intense this week. Remember that you have to have enjoyment out of life and not be so damn hard on yourself. Once every two weeks I do something for myself. If I didn't I would just turn into an OCD patient with a new outlet, instead of someone working towards a…
  • I see no problem with one item for the day not fully loaded with carbs. I eat a small amount and it doesn't make or break me. Its when you have a half pound of pasta for lunch. Then you should worry. If you can try out multigrain wraps. They help fill the fiber gap and taste pretty good
  • Take it slowly and work with exercises that aren't too hard on you yet can start developing muscles. Push ups were impossible for me at first. I decided to concentrate on strengthening my arms and back with barbell and machine weights. After about 3 months, I could do 10 pushups and has continued to increase. You can go on…
  • I'm going through the same thing. I feel like I eat like crazy but sometime even without exercise calculated I may not eat 1350 calories when my goal is 1880. I think i need to snack more or make my meals more filling. I also need to start taking breaks from exercise one a week.
