I'm looking too, and am interested in learning more. I'm looking towards the Timex, but still undecided.

I have the same problem, but if I eat a more in the mornings along with a light lunch and then a good dinner, I'm not as hungry at night. It's just difficult to eat breakfast and lunch when I'm not hungry until dinner.

I think it's a great idea, and no, age shouldn't matter we are all here for the same thing, to learn to eat and live a healthier lifestyle. With that said, what could be better than to start people out while still in their teens to learn to live healthy? I do believe that MFP is set for 18 and older, but I don't understand…

Coffee is another one of those controversial items that some claim are the devil and others claim are healthy and good for you. I've seen plenty of research showing that coffee has healthy benefits; in moderation, of course. I'm a coffee drinker and enjoy mine with Hyvee brand non-dairy, powdered creamer and sugar. I don't…

It is normal. Your exercise builds muscle and muscle weighs more than fat, so even as the fat comes off and is replaced by muscle, the weight initially increases. The bottom line is the numbers, if you bring in less calories than you burn, you will lose fat; and that is the goal, to lose fat. In time, the scale will…

Get a pedometer and see how many steps and or how many miles you walk during a shift. If you want to be as accurate as possible, take readings for a week and then do an average. Of course, if you listed being active on your feet in your profile, then you shouldn't count that time as exercise. It depends on how you entered…

Yes I do to both. I didn't until she showed up at my door and it was love at first sight for both of us. Even so, it takes work from both to keep love alive, and we have. I first met my soul-mate in 2002, we have been together since, happily married now and more in love with each other than ever.

from what I understand, yes, new fat comes off faster than old fat. New fat is easy for our bodies to access and burn, while older fat is marbled into the muscles. This is why the closer you get to your goal weight, the harder it becomes to lose.

Your not meaning those yummy orange sherbet ones in the tube with the stick on the bottom are you? Actually, they make a pretty good treat, but I think ten is overdoing it a bit...

I made a New Years Resolution many years ago that I'm still keeping to this day, "No more New Year's resolutions." Your right, it's not a yearly decision, or even a monthly one. It's difficult enough to handle a full week at a time. Personally, I take each new day as it's given. If I mess up, well, I'm human, but tomorrow…

Merry Christmas to you as well.

I like a little maple syrup with mine, brown sugar is a close second, and raw honey if I can find it. As for which is better; which ever one you enjoy most. Just enjoy it in moderation.

Your right, we're not here for negativity. In fact, we are here to be supportive and positive. We may not always agree, but by sharing ideas we learn new ways to succeed. If they work for us, great, if not, keep the negativity away from here. Thanks for sharing and best of luck with your journey.

Yes, you can have your cake and eat it too, so to speak. It's not what we eat, but how much, and what else we have with it. If your eating healthy, staying under your goals, and getting some exercise, then go ahead and enjoy. It's not about missing out, it's about learning to eat healthy and in moderation. The long term…

One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch. Keep posting for yourself and for us. I think most of us are mature enough to handle most any topic, and sensitive enough to either say something supportive, positive, or helpful.

Your doing great. Yes, there is a difference, your looking terrific. I think many of us have difficulties seeing our results, but others don't, and maybe through our eyes you can now, too.

Both my wife and i are here to lose weight. Your right about how we feel about ourselves when we are fat, flabby, and out of shape to the point that it affects our physical actions. I will point out that we both love each other dearly, and that no, being out of shape never took away from how we feel about the other, but it…

Where'd you go? Seriously, your doing terrific, keep it going.

Your an inspiration, and a mighty fine looking one, too.

Yes, grilled food, salad greens, and most places have reduced cal dressings if you ask. Try to order light, non-fried/deep fried foods, and you should do fine. Oh, and enjoy yourself.

Make my wife's life a fairy-tale come true Make her smile every day Tell her how beautiful she is, at least daily Remind her how much I love her, at least daily Get myself back into shape so I can have a lot of years to work on this list...

Wow, great pics, and good job. Very inspirational.

I just like cheese...

Sounds like you got it. Congratulations and keep it up...

Thanks for sharing. "A GREAT article - highlights some of the reasons why I'm choosing to eat as clean as possible." I, too, am eating as healthy as possible, when possible. Even so, I make my foods much like the boughten counter parts, a sensory explosion. But, along with all those yummy, falsely accused (I don't blame…

Feel free to add me. I have a bit more to lose than you, so you know I'll be around for a while...
-
Thanks. I'm looking forward to us making this journey together. We will all stumble from time to time, the important thing is to get back up, and carry on. Now, if we could all just get together for a daily workout...

OK, first of all, let me explain that I did this same thing, over a year ago. I was doing great, then took a break while company visited. I stopped and never got started again. I ate healthy, and over the summer, stayed within a few pounds of where I stopped in the spring. Then, over the winter, I was less active and…
