Curves Smart sounds awesome, but I don't think we have that at our curves. Darn it.

Can somebody explain Curves Smart to me? I'm familiar with Curves Complete but am not doing that becuase I'm working on continuing to follow WW. But I'm not familiar with Smart. But I will say I am loving my Curves workout. I did an extra two rounds the other day becuase I felt I needed it and even an hour workout wasn't…

I also just started at Curves. I got a 1 month membership at a silent auction and thought I would give it a go. I surprised myself by really enjoying the workout. I look forward to hearing about other's Curves journey.

I would love to join as well! I'm at 249 and 100 pounds would get me right where I want to be.

I'm so excited I found this board. I love the walking videos and bought two more to add some variety to what I do. I'll be starting my walking plan tomorrow and my goal is to walk 36 miles in January. I know it isn't a huge goal but I want to make sure I start out with something obtainable.

I think this sounds great. I know for me it will remove a lot of the stress. I'm trying really hard to make this a lifestyle change and sometimes the challenges have been making that difficult.

I wanted to see if I could find a short stretching video on YouTube I could do at work and I tried this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFBX9PDElco&feature=related It isn't so much a workout as just showing how to do some basic office stretches. I paused the clip after each exercise so I could do it. It took a little…

Today I thanked one of my good girlfriends for always being there to listen and let me vent as well as bounce ideas off of her. I also thanked her for being a great wine drinking partner :)

I like to do wall pushups (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RtM3L00BUU). It is great becuase you can do it anywhere.

Now I'm excited to try some of the other MSF products. I love the breakfast sausage. I ended up buying those to use in my squash recipe tomorrow. The recipe calls for sausage crumbles, but I couldn't find them, so I will chop up the breakfast patties. My NSV is that today I am wearing a dress I haven't been able to wear in…

My tip for the day is to keep a box of No Pudge Brownies in your cabinet. I love these becuase when you have to have choclate you can mix up an individual brownie with mix and vanilla (or plain) yogurt. I'm sure you could use a flavored yogurt for something different. One of these with a little no fat whipped topping is a…

Today's good deed was giving a friend my halloween "costume" from when I was pregnant.

Ok, Princess I need some help. I feel like I have just stalled out on the weight loss process and need a bit of a butt kicking to get going again. I know the weather change is part of my problem, but seriously, something needs to change. So, I'm wondering if anyone would be interested/willing to take over the captian…

Another option is to hook your slow cooker up to a light timer (like the kind you use for Christmas lights). You can set the timer to turn out when you need it and then it won't cook all day. This is a great option if your cooker doesn't have a timer.

Today I sent indivdual e-mails to all my students with multiple mid-term grade reports instead of just sending one mass e-mail. It might not seem like much but hopefully they will feel the personal touch and offer for help.

I spent some extra time with a prospective family working to answer all their questions even when I was running late for my next appointment.

Melissa-there are more important things in life than going to the gym and spending time with people you love is one of them. I'm glad you were able to go see your grammy. I miss mine everyday and wish I could spend just a little more time with her.

We should probably start thinking about challenges for next month since we are in charge of November (which will start October 31). So, let's brainstorm. I sent an e-mail to my future sister-in-law about hosting a shower for her. Trust me, this is kindness. Plus I will deal with this part so my mother-in-law doesn't have to.

I looked up a recipe for a friend that she has been looking for but just couldn't find.

My tip/recipe this week is cauliflower rice. I LOVE this stuff and I rarely eat regular rice or even pasta anymore. All you do is take a head of cauliflower and run it through the grater on your food processor (you could use a box grater, but I'm pretty sure I would end up with cauliflower and finger rice-not good). Once…

Princesses-What are your goals for the week? Here are mine- Burn 2000 calories Drink 64 ounces of water everyday Complete all the challenges.

A new week and a new attitude. I gained 6 pounds over the weekend and I feel like crap. I know I didn't really gain 6 pounds of fat, but the scale still showed that number. The good news is over the weekend I wore a size 16 dress and today I'm wearing 18/20 pants that I put in the dryer and they are still a little big.…
