Protein for Meal Replacement
With the start of the school year I'm having trouble eating breakfast in the morning. I'm wondering what is a good type of protein powder or meal replacment powder that I could use to make a shake in the morning. It would be helpful if it was easily availble and not super expensive.

WLWP-October Week 1 Chat (CLOSED GROUP)
Hi Princesses- At least one other of the teams is thinking about/has created their own disucssion board and I thought that would be a great idea. Let's use this space to encourage and motivate each other, and of course ask for help when needed. This is also a great place to ask any questions or share any tips. I will also…

Healthy Pick Me Up
I am really dragging today and I think I need a little snack or something as a pick me up. Any suggestions? I try not to consume too much caffine (especially this late in the day) so coffee or tea isn't what I want. Any suggestions would be great.

Vegetable Suggestions
Hello- I am working on October's menu and would like to try one new vegetable each week (or one that I don't usually use). So far I have acorn squash, spaghetti squash, and brussel sprouts. Does anyone have any other ideas for new/interesting veggies that are also pretty universally availible?

NSV-I guess
So, I had to look nice today for work, well no jeans which is what I would usually wear on a Friday. I got out a pair of pants that I knew would be a bit big but would work and my favorite blouse. I ironed the blouse and put it on and it is too big. My pants are much bigger than I expected and the shirt is just too big. I…

My feet burn
I've noticed when I walk or run outside the bottoms of my feet tend to burn. This doesn't happen when I am on the treadmill. Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this? I have new shoes that are very comfortable and supportive.

Pushing a stroller question
While out walking my twins this morning I got to wondering if pushing the stroller would be considered just cardio or strength training too. The stroller and babies together weight about 100 lbs so it is a lot of work to push that around. Any thoughts? It won't really make a difference, I'm just wondering.

Walk Away the Pounds Tracking Question
I'm not sure how to track calories burned for the Walk Away the Pounds workouts, so I thought I would ask. Note, I do not have a HRM. I'm thinking if it is 30 minute workout and you go 2 miles that it could be tracked at Walking 4.0 mph for 30 minutes. Does this make sense?

Affordable HRM
I would like to get a HRM but I don't really have any extra money right now. Does anyone have a suggestion for a VERY affordable one? (And no, $100 is not affordable right now). Also, is it ok to get a watch one if you just want a general idea of calories burned, or are thoes very inaccurate? Thank you.

Calories Burned-Machine vs Calculator
I'm wondering if it is better to use the calories burned that is displayed on my tredmill (does not take wight into consideration) or to use a calculator where you enter your weight, exercise, and time. I feel like I'm burning more calories than the machine gives me credit for, but that could be wishful thinking. I could…

Cream of Chicken/Mushroom Soup Substitution
Does anyone have any recommendations for what I can use as a substitute for Cream of Chicken or Cream of Mushroom soup in casseroles? I have used Greek Yogurt in the past but sometimes there is too much of a tangy flavor. I also like the mushroom or chicken flavor the soup adds along with the creaminess.

Cauliflower "Pasta"
Last night I made my little people pasta for dinner and really didn't have enough calories left to have pasta myself, so I tried something new. I used cauliflower rice as my pasta and put the sauce on as usual. I really liked this. Typiclly, I want the sauce more than the pasta when I make it at home so it worked really…

I'm having an experimental dinner tomorrow night where each dish has something new/different in it. I am making the cauliflower crust pizza, veggies and dip made with cottage cheese, and a dessert-I'm stuck on the dessert. Please share any suggestions for fun but easy (and preferably fairly inexpensive) dessert ideas.

Jogging Question
I started the Couch to 5K plan last night and I think it went pretty well. Near the end I really wanted to cheat, but I didn't, nor did I die. So my question is, does it matter how fast you jog/walk or is effort more important. I briefly felt very defeted when I went to enter my exercise and on the list was jogging but the…
