Walk Away the Pounds Tracking Question

I'm not sure how to track calories burned for the Walk Away the Pounds workouts, so I thought I would ask. Note, I do not have a HRM.
I'm thinking if it is 30 minute workout and you go 2 miles that it could be tracked at Walking 4.0 mph for 30 minutes. Does this make sense?

I think it would be safe to use that for your tracking on here to give you a general estimate. But, you won't really get a close estimate unless you have a good HRM. Heart rate, age, sex, weight, height & fitness level all are factors in how many calories you burn.0

Makes sense to me! that's how I would track it.0

That's exactly how I input it - walk 30 minutes at 4.0 for the 2 mile. I don't worry about figuring out the weights or anything else, I just label it walking.0

On the Walk Away the Pounds site, they have an estimate for how many calories are burned per mile...I just do a little math to get a good estimate of what I burned depending on how hard I perceived that I worked..... It also gives two ranges, one for no impact,...the other for the "boosted" walk.0
