My feet burn

I've noticed when I walk or run outside the bottoms of my feet tend to burn. This doesn't happen when I am on the treadmill. Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this? I have new shoes that are very comfortable and supportive.

My first thought was that there was some microfriction happening, which could be worse if you were using rough socks (either new and need to be washed a couple of times, rougher materials, wider/heavier stiching, etc.). Are your shoes good and tight? Can you feel your foot moving around inside the shoe? Are you wearing good socks?0

When your on the treadmill, the treadmill is doing all the work and you can adjust the path to your comfort... When your outdoors, your feet are doing all the work, you just have to build up a tolerance, and I find socks make a huge difference in how my feet feel... hope this helps. the burning could be from getting hot and sweaty, which I use gold bond on my feet before running..0
