  • Brussel sprouts & carrots broiled. I don't know why I never think to make these on non-holiday times, but I don't. I love them. Halve the sprouts, slice the carrots, mix with seasonings (I use garlic, garlic & more garlic), 2 tsps of olive oil and broil for about 20 minutes, flipping half way through. Delish.
  • I needed to read this just now :) The past two days have been horrible and I've used all the excuses listed. I do feel like I'm coming down with a cold and am overly tired, but I can still be watching what goes in my mouth, huh? I think for lunch I'll go get a can of low-fat/sodium chicken broth an a orange. I should also…
  • I did the same yesterday! I went up to the vending machine-where snickers were screaming my name! LOL I stood there for a long time. I ended up having 10 m & m's and giving the rest of the package to our office clerk.
  • I'm hoping to have my exercise bike repaired soon (missing a bushing/nut on the left pedal) so I'll be biking every am, as well as doing this pilates video I have. The ice skating is a good idea! I may have to try that, too :)
  • I can't wait to make this (tonight) My kids & I always have muffins on the weekends (this past weekend it was pumpkin) and I'm always on the lookout for a healthy muffin. thanks!

  • Biological age 31 Real age 17.1 I can expect another 20800 happy days.
  • Suppertime! I was just lamenting this...the past two nights have not been good. Tuesday night, my oldest had a volleyball game, so we had mcdonalds. Then I get home and my well-meaning grama had left us homeade glazed ham balls. So I had a few of those. Last night, my littlest one was begging for pancakes. and eggs. and…
  • Thanks skinnerme! It is low cal, then, huh? The texture is different, but myself (and my girls) got used to it pretty quickly. Alot less cals than regular dip/or using sour cream.
  • Sorry, I think I should have posted this in recipes. I'm not sure how to delete my post?
  • So last night I made this dip using Fat Free Cottage Cheese and HVR dry mix. I think? this is low cal, but I thought I'd check with you all first. The cottage cheese is 80 calories, 0 fat, 3 carbs, 14 g protein for a 1/2 cup serving. (I mixed the entire container, though) I used a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dry mix and…

  • These have gave me some great lunch & dinner ideas! Thanks! My favorite right now is the Pumpkin Muffins I've been making/having for breakfast. My sister just gave me the recipe (from WW).
  • Ok, so I'm fairly new & like this site a lot. started: 9/24 @ 217 lbs. 10/8 @ 211 lbs. I haven't found time to exercise yet, bc I'm a single mom to a busy 13 yr old who is in soccer, volleyball and band. Plus a three year old. Add two jobs to that mix and I barely find time to sleep. That said, I'm going to try and start…
  • I just joined last week. I'm a single mom, to a 13 yr old & 3 yr old; both girls. I've gained a lot of weight in the past year, since moving back to my hometown. I'm a secretary at a local high school. I'm really impressed with MFP this far. Tracking meals is easy, as is the exercise. I'm trying to cut out the…
