When I tried the Depo shot years ago....I too gained weight, and my "metabolism" has never been the same.....it took me a whole year after the year it was good for....to get rid of that "Depo feeling"....the worst form of BC ever....too many side effects...

I hate to say...but I have been on BC for 20+ years and never experienced any weight gain or loss as a reaction to the hormones.
