  • I was going to say that, I'm also 5'3 and 3/4" and 115-120 is too low for me. I have a larger bone structure and look like I'm anorexic at that weight. Granted it's been almost 20 years since I was that small, but the pics I have from that time are not pretty.
  • I do the exact same thing, I've got nothing but what God gave me When I get on the scale.
  • I zig zag, I started at 1200 for 1 week, and moved up to 1500 where I'll stay till I hit a plateau then I'll go up to my maintenance of 1800 for 2 weeks, after that I'll start over and drop back down to 1200 for a week. I also track my exercise and make sure I always net at least.
  • bump, need to look at this when I get home.
  • I wouldn't count the exercise as part of your activity, unless you do it every single day and you don't plan on tracking it. Since you're job is a mixture of desk work and being on your feet, I'd go with lightly active, like someone else said, ya don't want to over estimate.
  • I searched the internet to see what the dietary guidelines are and the only thing I could find was talking about added sugars. It did say how your body doesn't know the difference between added sugars and natural sugars, but added have empty calories where as natural occur sugars are usually found in healthy foods. I don't…
  • I don't know anything about lapbands. HCG I did, and I lost. I did not do the traditional VLCD, but a modified diet through a medical clinic. I followed the same calorie/nutritional goal that I am now following and my results were about double what I'm seeing now. Initially I felt great and was getting tons of compliments,…

  • Until you're ready and willing to make you a priority and make the time, no amount of advice in the world will make a bit of difference.
  • Just a everyday run of the mill cold, yep it's ok to still exercise. But you should take a little easier than normal. If you're running a fever then or taking certain meds that could raise your heart rate you may want to hold off till you're feeling a little better.
  • I say as long as you're losing keep at it. I zig zag, but stay under total calorie goal. I make sure I net a minimum of 1200 calories a day, sometimes I eat all of my exercise calories back usually I don't. HTH
  • Sounds like Gout pain, I'd see a Dr.
  • I usually get Hibachi Chicken when I go, the database has several entries for it. I've found the one that say Benihana-Chciken Hibachi to be the most accurate.
  • Nope, none here either. My husband is use to me being on line. I'm a manager for an online Moms forum, plus I facebook. Now, he'll get irritated if we're going someone and I jump on the computer 1 last time before I walk out the door. I'll also add though, I don't flirt with people I meet online (or in person for that…
  • The recommended daily amount is 2400mg, but that's on a 2000 calorie diet. I struggle with staying below that amount, just about everything has sodium in it.

  • If you're tracking your exercise on here as well as your calories then as you add in exercise it will increase your carbs for the day since it's set as a percentage of your calorie intake. Although the site doesn't take the different types of carbs into consideration, My understanding is there are good carbs and bad carbs.…

  • I'm not, but my oldest daughter is. Bleach is one of her favorites also. She wants to be a Manga artist and is begging to spend a year a board in Japan after graduation to study Anime & Manga.
  • I tried it quite a while ago and had no results. I actually didn't even follow up with the probiotics since the Metacaps were such a waste. Very disappointing, I though since it was "Jillian Michaels brand" that it would at least do something.
  • Last time I lost weight I dropped 60 pounds in 5 months. I had people tell me that I was getting too skinny (I still weighed about 160lbs), other people would ask my boss if I was sick. Use to drive me crazy!!! I know some of the comments weren't meant to be complimentary and some were truly out of concern. Just brush it…
  • Tomorrow's a new day. Be sure to drink lots of water, up it to 10-12 glasses to help rehydrate and flush your system. Don't let this throw you off track, use it as a learning opportunity and go forward from here.
  • HCG is, Human chorionic gonadotropin, is a hormone that is produced during pregnancy. Although it is found in small amounts in both male and females. It is believed that it will increase weight loss in severely overweight people because it allows the body to burn stored fat while maintaining a low caloric intake.
  • Good luck. I did a modified HCG diet with a nutritionist through a medical center. I did lose a bunch of weight 60 lbs in 5 months, but as soon as I stopped the shots the pounds piled right back on. I also had some pretty nasty side effects towards the end of it. For me, I'm seeing results following MFP guidelines and…
