Started week two. Did Burn One yesterday, ran 3 miles this morning, and did Burn It Off tonight. (I was busy all day Sunday, so did not try Burn It Off or Recharge as I had originally planned. But, went to church, helped DD with a school project. cleaned out the fridge, and did nursery duty at church Sunday night) I'm…

Whoot, whoot, Jess! :flowerforyou: Fantastic job! I ran 5 miles this evening. What beautiful weather we are having

Hi all, I did burn intervals today for the first time. Loved it!!! Just got home from a 5 mile run, and now I'm on my way to do abs. Hope everyone is having a wonderful, active weekend.
-
I did Burn 3 this morning. I will go heavier on a couple of the exercises next time. My delts are still a touch sore from Wed. Didn't get intervals in last night but I did run 5 miles. I just couldn't justify more time from my kids. It has been a rough emotional week with my 14 year old. Anyway bows I've at least done one…

Five for me today. This is a light week, no runs over 5, but then it is crunch time. I have a 20K scheduled for the last Sat. in May.
-
BC3 is up for tomorrow. Why is it your least favorite?
-
I run 4-5 times a week. I'm following a Runner's World smartcoach program to train for a 20K the last Saturday in May. This is a light week: no long runs  I'm ready to run outside, but our weather lately is NOT cooperating. Lots of rain and wind, and I am fair weather. I have to admit to watching TV on my laptop…

I can feel yesterday's WO and it is great! Also got in a 4 mile run last night. Needed to burn off some stress! Trying to decide whether to run or try the burn interval.
-
I made this for a luncheon at work today. Everyone loved it! Thanks for the recipe! I also saw cinnamon bagel chips at the store that would be good with this I think.
-
Burn 2 this morning. I upped most of my weights as I was on the light side Monday. WOW! I am already feeling a couple of places. I love it! Have a great day everyone.
-
Came home and had a 5 mile run last night. Ended up working until 1:00 AM last night, so I was too tired to get up and workout this morning. No WO tonight either, but I did mow the lawn for over an hour. I'm embarrassed to admit I have never, ever mowed a lawn in my life. So, there, now I have! I believe I have Burn 2 in…

HI there! Did my first Burn today. I enjoyed it and really looked at it as a day of learning. My DD's track meet was canceled so I think I'll get a run in tonight.

8 miles for me. Didn't have time to run until after 8:30, so it was midnight before I was settled enough to actually fall asleep. Tempo work; 4 x 1600, with 800 jog intervals. I got in some sub-nine minute miles, which is good for me.

I'm debating on when to start. Spent the evening looking thru the books and watching the initial dvd. I will be out of town this weekend and unable to follow the program. Should I wait until next Monday? ALso I'm training for a 20K at the end of May. Jess, I'm up for more hints as to how you incorporated the training. I…

It's here! It's here! It's here!!!!!!!!!!!

I wondered about the weights at WalMart. I have noticed those. Keep checking my email to see if my DVDs have shipped yet. Nothing so far :grumble:
-
Three on Monday for me. I feel like a turtle compared to many of you here: 6.2 on the TM.
-
It's great to see everyone get started. I'm debating about what to do for weights too. My DH lost his job shortly after the first of the year, so hundreds on weights aren't an option right now. Hmmm. I'll have to get creative for awhile. I'm itching for my DVDs to show up!!

Marla! I was so excited to come back to the proud thread and see you had planned to run a 5K. And now to hear the history of your family, it makes it so sweet to hear of your accomplishment. How truly sweet for you! You rock with the push-up challenge, and now this; all the while being a working wife and mom to 9!!!!!…

Girls, I'm jealous for those of you already started. I can't wait!! I'll second Megan's question: did you get the basic version or deluxe? I went with the basic for now. Also, what kind of weights are people lifting? I understand Chalene is encouraging to lift heavy: what is that? I would love the Bowflex or…

Short run for me today- just two miles. Hardly seems worth it, but I'm following my Runners' World Smart Coach plan. I'll top it off with some weights and ab work.
-
A bit over seven done! Way to go on Couch 2 5K! That's what got me started to!
-
Heading out for seven in just a bit. I'm currently training for a 20K at the end of May. I need to juggle my schedule because my long runs are on Saturdays, and I will be out of town and unable to get them in the next two weeks.:grumble:
-
Ordered mine last night; I'm in as soon I can get started!
-
If I remember correctly, a 20K is about 12.4 miles. Best of luck in Nov. I would also like to do the Des Moines Half-Marathon in Oct. Last year, I participated as part of a relay team-everyone ran 5, but the last leg who did 6.2 (me!). It was a blast! Anyway, I love Chalene and I've done one round of P90X. I'd like to…

Jumping in here: I just ordered the program. Not sure when I'll get it, probably next week, but if you are starting a support thread-I'd love to chime in! I'm currently training for a 20K at the end of May, so I'll be combining. Can't wait!
