Try incorporating more high calorie healthy fats. When Im way under...I go for almonds, peanut butter, trail mix... That kind of thing.

Alcohol has a dehydrating effect on the body....so you probably lost some water weight on that initial weigh in!

Yes, these are guidelines recommended in the US. Its what I was taught in college, and generally what I tell my patients. You are right about it being a controversial topic. To each his own...

It is very common to miss periods on the depo shot. I stopped having mine for a year....then switched back to regular birth control!
