  • Ok so since I originally posted this in June I started running 5 miles 5x week and increased my calories to 1430 a day. I dropped to 124.4 lbs at my lowest and my waist went down to 25.5" and my hips to 35". So I needed more cardio and more calories? I don't know but it worked for me.
  • I use a heart rate monitor
  • I started at 146. I started to notice a difference when I started running 4-5x a week in conjunction with counting calories/healthy eating. I had already lost 16 lbs but once I started working out more doing 2-5 mile jogs/runs/walks I lost body fat. My waist trimmed down and I dropped to 124/125. This is when everyone…
  • I am eating 1,100 and burning 2,200+. I have wondered if I'm not eating enough but I feel like I should be losing weight with that calorie deficit. Having the FitBit not only helps me eat the right amount of calories, it motivates me to move on days where I don't get enough physical…

  • So I've gotten down to 20% body fat, I'm at the same weight, but I've continued to do strength training with burst of high intensity cardio and I'm starting to see the difference. My waist is down to 26.5". I'm starting to see the results.
  • Thank you guys. I have upped my calories a little bit closer to maintenenance and am trying to just be healthy and more accepting of where I am at. I think it is my mind and I think I may have some unrealistic expectations. It can be pretty frustrating seeing all these super skinny/photoshopped girls in the media and then…
  • Ok, this isn't "classic" but I bought the DVD and love it. Even my boyfriend agrees its a great workout, easy to follow, fun, and effective. It's Cassey Ho POP Pilates. Her website is blogilates.com and the DVD is around $20. Excellent workout, energetic instructor, and every day this workout gets easier for me (meaning i…
