The only thing that worked for me was circuit training. I used to use all those machines at the gym and never saw definition until I started doing Jillian Michaels (ripped in 30) and Insanity. I was just like that this past week. I had more cravings than when I was pregnant, went over my calories 3 days straight (i'm not talking a few hundred), and didn't exercise for 3 days straight. However, when I do pull myself out of it, I do notice I feel better when I work-out...it also helps with the cramps :-)

I've been working out for years and never had cuts in my arms or definition in my legs until I got ripped in 30. I now do cardio 5 times a week and ripped in 30 (level 3 or 4) a couple of times a week as my strength training.

I too lost inches before I started losing the pounds. I would put the scale away for a bit. Perhaps weight yourself every two weeks instead of every week...and defintely don't way yourself everyday...that is the recipe for insanity.
