Thanks. This is actually doable and helpful.

I'm from Long Island and would love to have a work-out partner. I haven't ran in about 6 months, so I have to work up to that. But, I don't mind going to the track and speed-walking, jogging, plyo, etc. I'm in Nassau County.

lol. Thanks for making me laught. I'll be 32 in a couple of weeks....I'm not like an old lady either. lol.

Thanks for the encouragement. Just a few notes for those who have commented on my food intake: -- I have Crohn's disease and therefore have learned that I have to limit my intake of vegetables and dairy. -- My calorie intake is so low because I basically don't move all day. I work from home, so I get out of bed, move to my…

You look fabulous!!!!! Contrats!

No. I'm not on Meds. My tummy looks more bloated than usual, which is why I'm thinking I have a gastric tumor (I know, mad dramatic). I quit smoking 5 years ago.

I agree with the others. Your treadmill should become your best friend. Do at least 30 minutes at least 5 times a week, even if it's just walking. You can even alternate...1 day treadmill, 1 day DVD, 1 day rest, etc., so you don't get bored. 85% of weight loss success is food though, so you need to watch your calorie…

I definetely see success! Your stomach has shrinked considerably! Keep up the good work!

Aw. Thanks. I needed to hear that. And you are 100% right :-)

Ugh. I'm really happy with my weight and don't want to lose anymore...just tone-up, but this face thing is bothering me. I don't think I'm ready for botox or fillers. Will it help if I stop smiling for a year?

I didn't do 30-day shred, but I did do Jillian's Ripped in 30. Here are my results: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/526613-before-and-after-18-lbs

You really have an amazing shape (hourglass that most girls would kill for) and P90X is really working for you! You look great! I can't wait to see the end results!

In my early twenties, things were hard. I lived with roommates up until I was 26! I lived by myself for 1 year, but found that I was stretching myself to thin as I was paying my own college tuition at the time. Roommates weren't bad. I was very lucky to find good people and we really supported each other...when I was broke…

Thanks for all the helpful comments. I appreciate it.

OMG! I'm drinking for you! Don't know how you are keeping sane!

You and I are very close in height and weight. I'm 5'6", currently at 141 (started at 162). The closer you are to your ideal weight, the harder it will be to come off. I have been in a stall for 3 months now. I'm not discouraged at all, because I am stronger and healthier than ever. My goal weight was 135, but I've come to…

Go to the bathroom and do some squats. Go to the stairwell and run up and down for 2 minutes. Go outside and walk around the block really fast for 3 minutes. People go on cigarette breaks all the time, so take "exercise" breaks instead :-) I'm sitting most of the day as well, but luckily I work from home, so I just get up…

I agree with most of the other replies. For someone of your weight, I think 1200 is too little. Just trying eating more for a 1 or 2 weeks. You might be surprised at the results. When I started MFP, I weighed 162 and they set me at 1380, so why would MFP set you at 1200? I think you may have set your weight-loss goals too…

Love it. Thanks for posting. I am re-posting.

I wouldn't worry about it if the sugar is coming from fruits and not from Kit Kats :-)

You are all doing great! Keep it up!

Have you ever been to the UK? I have, several times. The girls don't get manicures, pedicures, eyebrows done...nothing! It's probably because everything is so expensive over there. Who knows. However, I can see her being the most good looking girl out of 1,000...seriously. My best friend just moved to London and when she…

Children learn by example. My daughter (4 years old) will reach for a strawberry before she reaches for a candy. She eats what we eat (whole grains, vegetables, lean meat, etc), and we don't cater to her just because she is a child. She know that pizza and candy are treats that you have every once in a while, but not…

I work from home too and gained weight over the past 3 years while working for my company. You can do it! I get up every 30 minutes and just walk around the house or do 20 jumping jacks...and then keep working. I exercise 5 times per week and try to eat as well as I can (while still indulging in my favorites...pizza and…
