  • I started ae 270 5'6" my calories was 1390. Then I changed it to a sedentary and dropped to 1310 (for 2lbs per week). I am now at 1200. Of course I have to eat back calories after exercising to keep it above 1200. Looked at your diary. Your calories and carbs seem a little high. Try recalculating it.

  • I take fiber capsules. You can also add sugarfree metamucil or other fiber powder to any drink.I add it to my Crystal light. And no its not a laxative. Anyway, I can increase fiber w/o adding calories or carbs. You can even track it Psyllium (fiber) caps are in MFP data base.

  • I love them both, but I just can't afford the high carbs and calories in my calorie budget. Same way I that I won't eat brown rice. Been trying to substitute w/quinoa, but just haven't developed a taste for it.

  • I ts real simple when I explain it this way. If your baseline awas 1200 per day, and you burn off 100 calories walking. This will put you under 1200 which will put u in starvation mode. Now that I have increased my calories to 1310 I just make sure that I eat back enough to keep it above 1200.

  • When my blood sugar was dropping I was cranky and starving even though I had just eaten. I was cutting out too many carbohydrates. Starting eating at least 15g og carbs w/each meal, and both issues went away. Keep up w/ ur diary so u can monitor ur intake.
