OMG! Under 150! Today I weighed in at 148.5! I've been doing two workouts a day: running and zumba; tennis and yoga. Together they come out to about 1.5-2 hours. I do think that I'm going to take it easy today, though, and let me muscles rest a bit. Keep going, everyone!

Ugh. I gained .5 lb. I knew it was coming after yesterday's big meal, but still disappointing. However, I've lost 1.5" in my waist and 1" in my chest, so yay!

Wow! Everyone is doing so well! I've gotten my hour in most days this past week. I went to brunch with some of my hungover friends (I didn't go out last night because I knew I'd blow what had been a great food day). I ended up eating all of my daily calories at that one meal. Disappointing. To make up for it, though, I…

It's so hard for me to get on here on the weekends (I update my food through my phone, though!). I did my 60 minutes 4 out of 7 days, so not great. We also had a potluck at work on Friday followed by a going away dinner celebration for a friend. Friday was very bad. However, I did lose 1 lb! Looking forward to doing better…

Great job everyone! I ate really well today (still got in my Wednesday Jimmy John's Sandwich!) and just finished 60 minutes of power yoga. MFP says yoga only burned 174 calories. Another website says power yoga burned 488. I'm not sure which is right, so I'm going with the lowest one. Looking forward to my Thursday tennis…

Good food day for me AND I played tennis for 105 minutes (in the 93 degree heat). Looks like a lot of other people had a great day, too. And I think being ok with birthday cake pushing you over your calories is perfectly fine (for one day). :)

It was a long day: work at 7:30, doctor's appointment at 3:30, back to work til 5:30, frantically looked for prescription card (does that count as a workout?), called to replace prescription card, etc... I almost didn't work out at all, but forced myself to hit the elliptical for 20 minutes. Not 60, but more than I would…

Hi all! Sorry to just now post, but my internet was funky all weekend (as were my eating habits!). I'm Leslie--a single, 29 year-old Coordinator of Writing in Richmond, KY. I lost about 35 pounds and have kept it off for over 2 years now. I would, however, like to lose another 20-25 pounds. As I lose wieght, I feel good,…

Don't completely restrict yourself from sweets--that'll make you want them more. You should check out the Hungry Girl website and cookbooks. Lisa Lillien takes recipes and transforms them into low calorie, high fiber recipes. The desserts usually only take a few ingredients (the yum-yum brownie muffins just take cake mix…

Make sure that you set a bedtime and stick to it. If you don't, you'll be too tired to get up. Even if you don't plan to workout, make that bedtime a routine. I try to be in bed by 10, 11 at the VERY latest and I get up at 4:45 to start my workout at 5. It does get easier. :)

I recommend trying something from hungrygirl.com. All of the recipes are low in calories and high on fiber. There are recipes for desserts, party foods, appetizers (and meals). Hope this helps!

I just joined last week and it's definitely making me more aware of what I'm eating and when I don't work out. Feel free to add me!
