I eat 1/4 cup of unshelled pistachios every day. I eat them in the shells because it slows the eating down. Pistachio's are good for heart health.

I went there three weeks ago and was able to get a half size salad with no dressing. It had some sort of nuts on it and a little cheese., tomatoes, etc. Then I had one small piece of cheese bread and iced tea. Came away feeling great! I find I am able to eat out easily. I always look for something like the house salad and…

I had gallbladder surgery 17 years ago and two days later after the mild soreness went away, I felt better than I had in years.

All of these tools are an estimate. Everyone is different. Ultimately, you have to figure out your own body.

I'm an Iced Tea purist..hahahahah. I don't drink any soda because of all the calories and the diet soda is really unhealthy.

I don't count calories from vegetable like lettuce, celery, tomatoes and bell pepper.

Greek yogurt is great. There is a big difference in calories though. I try to find Greek God's-it is a little more expensive but it is 60 calories for a container of plain. I add packets of Stevia or Truvia to it and pistachios. Watch carefully the calories carefully because if you start buying say-vanilla or a flavored…

I have found I am most successful when I weigh everyday in the morning. It keeps me accountable. I always tell myself if I have a day I haven't done as well as I like, that just as long as the scale doesn't go up, it is okay. If I don't weight myself everyday, I find if I have a day I have done well, it might end being two…

I track everything except non-carb vegetables and I eat all of those I want.

I have found people are annoyed with me because just seeing me doing it makes them feel like they should be watching what they put in their mouth. I don't care what they do, but I can still tell it makes them uncomfortable.

Just me posting.

I haven't used any diet program or pills. No magic tricks, just more exercise and eating well and cutting down on calories. Making sure I eat "good healthy food" and take in less than I burn up. I track everything I eat, have cut down on salt, sugar, fat. I eat a lot of beans, fruit, veggies, yogurt and get a lot of water…

Such a feeling of relief, isn't it?

I noticed someone posted they eat yellow squash, acorn squash, etc. They are filling and makes you feel like you are eating something more substantial. I cook mine without any butter or fat and sprinkle a little Stevia on it.

Some of my mainstays are garbanzo beans, greek yogurt, grapefruit, all beans. If I get to where I need to eat something sweet or a snack, I buy Weight Watchers giant fudge bars which are 100 calories apiece. I also like pretzels-which are easy to portion control. They don't have much fat in them either. I always let myself…

Been using 1200 calories as a vague goal everyday since last June. Somedays I only eat 800 and others 1400, but I have lost 75 pounds and feel great. I eat a lot of beans, fruit, Greek Yogurt, vegetables, both raw and steamed, for snacks I have pretzels, etc. I drink a lot of iced tea, and water. I don't eat meat.

Wow! What an accomplishment! You rock!
