I'm doing it right now and am on day 6. It eliminates A LOT of foods and food groups, but after 30 days you start to reintroduce foods to see if they cause any negative reactions such as bloating, food cravings, headaches, stomach upset, rash, etc. I was looking for such a thing because not only do I want/need to lose…

Congratulations on your 166 days! I am 26 years clean and sober. Now time to deal with food. I need to lose over 50 lbs now. Thinking the one day at a time way will work with food too. Have logged in and out of MFP for years now but just got blood work done and cholesterol is high and heart disease runs rampant in my…

I'm an Enell fan and I got mine from e-Bay. It's one of Oprah's favorite things. Only one I"ve ever had that hold the girls still.

Awesome....thanks for sharing your success ...it is inspiring!

I am with you! The only thing that keeps me between and me and my goal of 50 lbs. is the "stick-to-it" ness. I know if I eat healthy most of the time and exercise, I will reach my goal, but I've got to do it for the long haul. I recently became unemployed and am starting my own business and helping my husband run his, so I…

Thanks for sharing...and remember...a picture is worth a thousand words! Great job....you look awesome!

Amazing! Thank you for sharing this because I just set one of my first NSV goals to fit into an outfit I bought two years ago. We are going on vacation next month and I am hoping to wear the outfit while on vacation! The jeans look great on you now, and I don't think you will have to wait a month to wear them. You will…

Thank you for sharing your progress with us! You are such an inspiration and I can't wait to hear about when you hit your goal. I needed to hear what you had to say, because I have recently had the same epiphany... that I can't quit. This go around that is where my focus is...trying not to use a bad day as an excuse to…

Maybe we can help each other. I log in everyday and try to be encouraging. What I don't do though is tell people that of the 10 lbs it says on my banner, I've gained 4 of them back. I have fallen back in to my fast food habits, not logging, not exercising. Wow, that felt good to admit. I'm going on vacation in a month, I'd…

Thanks for sharing that with us and for being such an inspiration and a good MFP friend. The knee and the diabetes control is just phenomenal!
-
Wow, just WOW. Congratulations, you worked for it!

I did too, had a couple of days going over, including a late night cracker binge. I just decided that it wasn't worth throwing away the progress I've made and that I could get back up on that horse at any time. Just forget about the mis-steps and keep on truckin'!

Feel free to add me, too. I rarely miss a day of logging and I log the bad days, too, as I'm not trying to race to lose the weight. Logging really helps me see how the calories can add up.

Thank you for putting it out there and you are truly an inspiration. I have no doubt that you will make your goal. Amazing!!

I was diagnosed about 13 years ago, I was very opposed to taking medication so I tried natural remedies which would work for a week or two, but then I would have to change, dosages, add stuff, etc. And the cost was over $100 per month. Then I switched to Armour thyroid, but found that different batches would work…

MFP also set mine at 1200 and I reset it to 1350 more for psychological reasons. It was discouraging to log 1190 calories and receive a message that I was eating too few calories, but eat 1225 and get the message that I was not under my calorie goal. I agree that some exercise is a must. I have been losing about 1 lb a…

Thanks for posting what many of us are going through! Like everyone else said, don't keep going off the deep end, just drink lots of water and you'll be back in the 150's in no time!!

Thank you for your honest, candid post and for keeping it real for the rest of us. You are an inspiration to what I can become in 2013. Thank you again, you look great!

Yep.. eating poorly and not exercising for most of December. Christmas is over and I don't want to wait until January 1, time to get back in the saddle.

Good job! Thank you for sharing the pictures and for being an inspiration to us.

I could have written this, I go through the same thing. Maybe we can be accountability buddies?? When left to own devices, I can talk myself out of getting up, but if I know someone is checking up on me, then I will think twice about how I will feel telling someone else that I blew it off. Let me know what you think!
