  • I too am starting this journey back up. It's time to make my health a priority again.
  • Yes, 2017 I had my thyroid removed and one of the many complications from that surgery has been two separate cases of blood clots in my right leg with in a year and a half. Both times the DVT was in the same leg same area. First time, the clot went from groin to calf so large. Second time, ot so large but I had a new clot…
  • I have just started doing some yoga sessions at home the last month and a bit as I too have been dealing with multiple health issues since my total thyroidectomy last Oct. I love the "Yoga with Adriene" videos and she has a bunch to choose from. I am currently working through the 30 day challenge. I am not particularly…
  • Well just a bit of update. Been along time. It's been almost 2 years from my first diagnosis and it's been a roller coaster. I am finding making small changes are best, and sometimes when the scale numbers are not going down, it is best to focus on the non-scale accomplishments instead.

  • Thanks Everyone for your ideas! I just made this soup tonight. Was and smelled delish. Only thing different I did was use a lentil soup mix then pureed half the soup and poured it back in. http://www.thekitchn.com/recipe-red-lentil-soup-recipes-from-the-kitchn-212392
  • What a great idea!- Thanks.
  • Well, I see the specialist tomorrow and I am really hoping that he has some answers or at least a plan. Every day is different with the pain level. Just found out I also have a small inguinal hernia as well, so doc figures I am dealing with two different things. I am only working half days as the pain can be brutal by the…
  • I do, at least the breakfast and lunch as it helps be to stay on track and helps with the logging, plus I usually prepare my lunch the night before. I don't always know what I am having for dinner so.....I can always adjust it accordingly.
  • Iam assuming that you bake these. How long? Temp?
  • Well, it's been a challenging last couple of months. Was diagnosed with diverticulitis beginning of November and I am still dealing with the constant pain. Each day is different.
