I go to the gym after work, get there about 6:30 p.m., stay until 7:30-8. I eat after I get home, because trying to digest while working out heavily = vomit. No thanks. No such thing as "eating too late". Calories in vs calories out.

How large is the pizza's diameter? That should help figure out how much you inhaled. Though IMHO, I say to hell with it. Consider it a cheat day and move on with your life. Throw in an extra hour at the gym and march on. The biggest thing is not to give up. Don't let one little hiccup stop your forward motion. (Since…

I think I was doing more harm to myself and my body by -not- thinking about food. I wasn't paying attention to what I was shoving in my mouth. Now I recognize when I'm eating, and what. If it doesn't fit in my macros for the day, I don't eat it. I trea MFP sort of like a bank account. When the "funds" are empty, I can't…

No. Cleaning is not cardio. I would only include intentional cardio exercise (long walks, jogging, rowing, etc. Doing anything else just to "earn more calories" is a joke. P.S. i do however include "sex" in the cardio list, because a.) it's intentional and b.) you can work up one hell of a sweat.

Awesome job! I've got my first one scheduled for October. Can't wait!

I love compression gear. I sometimes even wear it when I'm not working out! It makes me feel supported, and slims out some lines so it looks great under button ups. For the gym I have compression shorts (They kinda look like bicycle shorts) that I wear under my less revealing, exercise friendly basketball shorts. Same for…

Dear Ice Cream, You know I love you, I just can't be with you any more. I wish I could say it's not you, it's me. But we both know that'd be a lie. You're so clingy, I spend so much time prying to off of my arms and legs I can't even be myself any more. I really think we should see other people, we just have different…

Female 5'7" Currently 242 pounds. Goal is 145 pounds Starting weight was 268 pounds. 30 mins of cardio + 30 mins of heavy lifting 5x a week; a hike on the weekend. I eat about 1400 calories a day, and do not eat back my workout calories. I'm losing about 3 lbs a week.

Everyone gains/loses weight in different areas, and this has -everything- to do with your genetics. When I dropped 80 pounds a few years back, my arms and thighs all shrank, but my abdomen was still large in comparison. Then i took a look at my mother, grandmother, and they're all the same. So I am certain that my belly…

My activity leve is set on "sedentry" but I only count intentional exercise as exercise. So even though I have a desk job, my commute includes a lengthy walk, and my day usually involves flights of stairs multiple times a day. So I won't count cleaning (Hours, or otherwise.) not counting shopping trips, sex, etc. I only…

It usually depends what I've planned out for dinner. If I know I'm making mexican food, etc. I leave at least 700, and will have a small breakfast/lunch. if I happen to have a large lunch, I'll usually keep my dinner small, and now and again only have 200-300 cals left. So i suppose it varies day by day!

Nope. 5'7" :)

I lost 80lbs a few years ago with Slim-Fast. They're convienent, and you don't really have to think about it. They just make calorie counting simple. That being said, once I lost the weight, transitioned back to food, i was still clueless about how to eat. I gained it all back, plus some. That being said, this time around,…

I do! And i plan on logging for many years to come.

I log right when I get to my desk job w/ computer access. I plan out my day,as I know what I had for breakfast, what I packed for lunch/snacks, and depending on if I know in advance or not, know what I'm having for dinner, or know how many calories I have to "spend". Planning ahead is probably the best thing I could do for…

I signed up for a 24 hour fitness about a month ago, $25 a month. It's simple, no pool, offers a few group classes, estc. And best of all, no fees to cancel. I even dragged my brother along (He is halfway to his UGW of 180 from 380). I like that I can use the cardio equipment and weights, especially when it's raining and I…

Stick your headphones in, flip em the bird and march on! Who cares what they think? This is about you. They'll eventually get bored and find some other puppies to kick.

Feel free to add me! In total I've got 128lbs to lose! I'm down to 105 to lose now. :) Sometimes it's like one of those 'Days until Christmas' chains. Tearing off a pound or two at a time.

Today I will do the elliptical for 30 mins, then do 30 mins of weights working my abs, chest and back. (I did legs and arms yesterday)

Calories in vs calories out. If you have anxiety about food, because of food, etc, I'd suggest talking to a counseler. It's actually very helpful. I went for a few months to address my social anxiety, and ended up talking about all sorts of stuff. I wish there wasn't such a negative stigma about therapy. It's great to sort…

Work it in to your macros for the day. It -is- rude to refuse, since it is -your- birthday and she bought if for -you-. When my birthday rolls around I plan on asking for cupcakes, that way i can limit myself to one, and already have it worked in to my calories/fats for the day. It just takes a little planning.

I want to attend the police academy and kick serious *kitten* before becoming a sworn officer.

My "goal" is around 48g a day. I manage to hover from 35g-50g depending on the day. With excercise this jumps up a bit, but I'd say max is 70g.

I don't eat mine back because even if I religiously count/weigh everything I know I'm going to miss some calories somewhere. So I take my 'food' number with a grain of salt, understanding I probably went over anywhere from 100-400 with simple stuff (like forgetting to count that olive oil in my stirfry) So basically that's…

Morning workouts are the best. But they definately take some level of motivation. You've got to be willing to go to bed a little earlier so you can get up an hour (or more) before your regular time to workout. Best advice I have? Just do it. Pull yourself up by the bootstraps and dedicate yourself to the morning. No…

Yeah! Highfive! This is great. I had my boss tell me "Wow, it's just falling off of you, isn't it?" I felt awesome and you should too!

I played WoW heavily for years (We're talking 10-16 hours a day). Now, I go for a run or to the gym instead. MMO's are just not ingredients for a more-active lifestyle. Not for me anyway.
