I'm currently fluctuating between 216 and 218. Considering I started at 268? I"m damned proud of what I weigh! I'm hoping to get to 150.

OP, you are absolutely amazing. I only started to see the changes once I started buying smaller clothes. Also, pictures help tremendously. But I think that part of me will always see me as a fat person. No matter how thin I get.

Great job! Just finished Week 6 Day 1 this morning, myself! We're on our way!

I prefer the ladies who can pull off stunning stilettos one night, and a Seahawks jersey the next. You are who you are. Personality and confidence are far sexier than what you're wearing and what you like to do in your down time.

Was it rude? Yes. Inconsiderate? Absolutely. Do I genuinely believe he -thought- he was being genuine and helpful? Sure. Maybe he was. But unsolicited advice, help, etc. is usually unwanted and leads to uncomfortable embarrassment. If a complete stranger walked up to me and said the same, I'd be upset, embarrassed, but…

Great job! I cannot wait to join you there!

Why is High-Five not an option?

Excellent job! Way to go!

I live in Seattle, so treadmill's are a must unless I like running in rain boots. I have books on tape, there are tvs at my gym, hulu, Run! Zombies, anything that lets me space out. My fave book series has 30+ books, so I never run out! (the In Death Series by J.D. Robb if anyone was interested. Yay crime/romance) That…

Excellent job! I'm nearly halfway to my own journey. I'm a little shorter at 5'7", and started at 268, (218 as of this morning!) but I can absolutely relate to the "good, but slow" mentality of athletics. I played sports all throughout high school and college, and my weight kept me from being the best athlete I could be.…

If they didn't judge me for my weight, they'd find something else to judge me for. The only way to truly combat it is to not give a **** what people say. Who are they to you? Their judgement is usually their own insecurities surfacing. After a terrible existence in high school, I grew out of caring what people thought…

Has happened more times than I can remember. I just use it as inspiration to go a little farther. I -am- unarguably fat. But I won't be soon. Just keep kicking as*. To hell with the rest.

/wolfwhistle. Truly excellent. You have every reason in the world to be confident, you look amazing!

I assume it's different for everyone. I'm usually up 2-3 pounds on mine, and a few days after. Then I drop those, and usually 2-3 more a week and a half later. Just make sure you're hitting your calorie goals, and the weight will come off. As I lose weight, mine are actually getting longer, though they are always on the…

Hit your calorie goals. Also, increasing my protein intake has eliminated most of my hunger rumblings. I feel satiated longer than I do with carbs.

Excellent job! You look wonderful.

I habitually go to the gym straight from work, so I show up in my professional duds. But putting it on before? Nah. But, for those who do? Whatever makes you feel more comfortable. Maybe it's war paint.

No luck so far, you're all older, shorter, or skinnier! Female, 27 (in a week) 5'7" SW: 268 CW: 221 GW: 150

Started at 268, as of this morning I was 221. There's no secret. Calories in vs calories out. Once you can master that, stick with it, you WILL succeed.

Reached the last hole on my belt. Need to punch a new hole, or buy a smaller belt this weekend!

Sure! Surgically remove your limbs. You might have a shot.

I routinely wear 3 bras when I go running. A regular, clasp in the back, an over the head minimizer for support, and finally an over the head "sport" bra, which is 2 sizes too small. I'm a 38 DDD, and the more bra, the better, in my opinion.

The first time I dropped a substantial amount of weight, it was with Slim Fast. I lost about 70 lbs in 6 months. That being said. It was the WORST. Not only was I nutritionally deficient, I was always light headed, weak, and starving. Once I stopped drinking the 2-a-day shakes, ALL the weight came back, plus 20 pounds. I…

I reached the end of my walking trail without meaning to. Apparently it's 4 miles long! Also heard this week: "Man, you're shrinking." and "Jeeze, you're getting small." Yay for NSVs!

If I eat at my BMR, I don't lose anything. Same goes for eating back my exercise calories. I've had the most success staying right around 1300. I have a desk job, but I go to the gym 4-5 days a week. I've lost 25 lbs in about 10 weeks, so it's working for me. I'd say drop your cals a little. Aim for 1600-1700 for a week or…

Nothing to be done about it now. Take it in stride and do better tomorrow.

You look great! And so much happier! Keep going! We're all rooting for you!

I had a root canal about 4 years ago when I broke one of my teeth while sleeping (I grind >.<). It sucked. I was unable to chew anything. So for nutrition, I stuck to whole milk and meal replacement shakes. Just until I was able to get the dental work a few days later. Get in there, asap.

French fries. Now, they're just too damned "expensive" for what I get. It's a disappointment every time I encounter them. So I've just stopped eating them all together. If I'm going to spend the calories, I might as well have a candy bar.
