  • I went to Chik-fil-a yesterday and only consumed about 700 calories and was pretty satisfied. (Grilled sandwich, salad, reg tea) Almost all fast food places have healthy options that are decent, but the hard part is making the choice to not get your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th choice and going with what you know is right.
  • Your liver is important in a number of ways. One is that it assists in regulating blood sugar via glucagon/glycogen stores in your body. Hydrating properly helps it to perform at optimum capacity and can influence your weight one way or the other.
  • Whole wheat and multi grain breads/pastas are relatively low in sugar. Starch vegetables like potatoes, rice, etc.

  • I wore my heart rate monitor once when I mowed and did the yard just to see how many calories it burned. Since I do it about every 10 days I go ahead and add it to my normal daily workout, but that is just so I feel more comfortable eating something later that day.
