I'm 25 and am 5' 7.25" and i'm a size 4/6 at 160ish lbs. I started at a size 14+ at 185 lbs two years ago and my default picture is me today in my newest pair of skinny jeans!

I eat 80-150 g a day just depending on what exactly it is that i'm eating. I get most fat from nuts, avocados, meats, and oils not from donuts or other processed junk. I have been eating this way for a year and my Triglycerides (sciency name for fat in your body) went DOWN twenty points in a year which is a HUGE number, so…

yes, i eat plenty of fruit! I dont restrict carbs, I just focus my meals on eating good quality protein first and foremost then add veggies. Fruits and nuts are snacks for me. I am very active and do just fine on 50-150 g of carbs a day...your body can MAKE energy (carbs) from protein and fat sources so you dont *need* to…

well, for the longest time i have had "acid reflux disease" honestly, as long as I can remember. I thought everyone had heartburn all the time. Then it started to get worse and I talked to my dr who prescribed more meds. He thought I had CANCER and ran all sorts of (expensive) tests. Anyways, they didnt find anything and…

I never said "paleo is the ONLY way to be healthy" I just presented some numerical parameters of what has worked for ME. Never did I say "vegetarians are wrong"--i WAS a vegetarian for several years and don't think that at all. It just didn't work for ME personally.

so much for wanting to possibly spark the "maybe I should consider eating real foods" notion for some people, clearly this is all about my ego.

I think you and I had the same Dr....what an idiot! Literally TWO days after trying Paleo I felt amazing and didn't have any intestinal problems. TWO DAYS!!! Id been on acid reflux meds for YEARS and had endoscopy's and other tests done to make sure I didnt have cancer when it was my DIET that was hurting me! I couldn't…

I'm so glad that yall appreciate this! Not saying vegetarian is bad, but for me and my gluten+dairy allergies it was bad! I also have a newly converted paleo co-worker and he had similar results... so here is proof from TWO people. Though he went from a traditional westerner style diet, not paleo. Weight: 190 to 160 (def…

to clarify a few points... 1) when I was a vegetarian I ate lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains, and minimized fried stuff and processed items. I wasn't one of those french fry and ice cream vegetarians. You can see everything I ate since summer of 2009 in my food diary. 2) For the exercise part of this equation: last…

Sounds similar to phases described here: http://whole9life.com/2012/06/the-whole30-timeline/ I did a no-sugar diet for 30 days (well 45, but thats beside the point) and those sugar cravings are intense! You are doing the right thing, just stay strong and distract your sugar cravings with delicious veggies and meats! Your…

I'm on the last 5 pounds and have been her for nearly a year (!) My suggestion is to really take a hard look at your diet and clean things up there...if you are active, your exercise is probably good bit diet is really where you the the most bang for your buck. Cutting down on sugars and making sure you are eating lots of…

I've been eating Paleo for about 8 months now, but during August I've been following the Whole30 since I was eating a bit much cheese and drinking too much alcohol this summer... great results (with pictures) so far: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/AggieCass09/view/whole30-challenge-halfway-there-406769

do fewer reps...you'll be able to push yourself harder for 3-5 sets of 3-7 reps of something veruss 2 -3 sets of 15 or 20 reps...this way you can do a heavier weight and see better results! Always start heavy and step back from there, never the other way around.

oh goodness, thank you! I'm going to the lake house this weekend and am supposed to bring a side...this is perfect!!!

I did my first CFT on 7/16/12 and scored a 445: Back Squat: 175 Dead lift: 185 Press: 85 I've done 95 on strict press before so I was hoping for a bit higher score, but after doing the other two lifts I suppose you can't expect to hit new PR's on everything.

i eat clean and my food diary is full of ideas! There are pictures of most things and recipes on my blog as well!

I have a very lovely relationship with the meat guy at my local grocery store...I ask him when things are going to go on sale and if he has any special cuts of meat that fit my specific requirements (grass fed, or free range, or whatever). He has recommended me coming in towards the end of the day so that he can mark down…
