380 pounds and an ever increasing A1C and blood sugar readings. Increasing blood pressure and a desire not to die before my parents. My goal is to lose 1002 pounds by 8-4-13. Almost 3/4 of the way there and still losing.

This is so wrong. Why would using tools make your weight loss any more real? Did you go to the gym, it's a tool like WLS, mediation, protein supps. I had lap band surgery in August 2011. By November my A1C went from 7.4 (on 3 meds/day) to 5.8 on no meds. I have maintained the 5.8 and am anxious to see what it is in June. Hi Janeen. You will make it. Do you have a softsided lunch bag or cooler. If not, it is well worth the investment. That and a bunch of the ice packs you can pop into the fridge every night. Take your shakes, jello, broth, etc. Also, sugar free popsicles were my savior. I don't think I would have made it those 2 weeks…
