I'm thinking you may need more protein because of all the heavy exercise... helps your body build muscle tissue.

Myfitnesspal is an effective tool for the emotional eater, especially if you are using the phone app. The phone (eg your friend) is always with you. You can always "talk" to it by logging your food. It "listens" and "replies" by giving you feedback. Talking to "it" can be talking to "us" your friends to whatever degree you…

Touching... I love how your story illustrates that the whole time, you loved that girl that was you. You cared about her and you understood why she got in that predicament. And now you love her still. Awesome journey.

Just a thought, you are not your weight, you are you and that is why they love you. Too much focus on the new skinny you could be a way of saying you weren't ok before. Maybe they loved you then too! Maybe they want the new you to be absorbed in how much you love THEM as well?

It was one I wish I had won, however I realized I was getting "too" angry over this and it was taking my own issues with food, which I had not conquered either, out on him. So, if I could have…

xraychick77, can you tell me about your weight loss journey?
-
Sorry cheekymonken, it was xraychick 77 who put out the post questioning surgery. Back to Becca294, how are you doing now?
-
How are you doing now? I am seriously considering surgery, I have an appt for a physical with the surgeon in a couple of weeks. To cheekymonkey, great if you can do the lifestyle change. For myself, I'm running out of time to do it. When I lost 127 pounds on a medically supervised liquid diet, I ran into all kinds of life…
