Yep, I credit the MPF/Fitbit combo with my success. Log all of your food in MFP as well as any non-step related exercise. Let the two programs talk back and forth and make the adjustments accordingly. It took me a few weeks to trust that the programs were doing it right, but once I stopped over thinking it and just…

Since I've started doing squats I've noticed this in the outer thigh area, some of my work pants have gotten a bit snug. Wish it were more in my bum.

Fantastic post! I love this so much! My whys: I got tired of waking up and hating, absolutely hating, the body I was waking up and living in. Tired of fooling myself into thinking that I don't feel that bad and didn't look that bad. Tired of using food and alcohol as a drug to cure my boredom and my self esteem issues.…

Logging everything Food Scale & Measuring cups/spoons Some kind of activity, every single day, even if just a short walk. Keeps me focused on my goals.

Thankfully my cube has a window, and there are only 4 cubes in the whole office, so it's not like its a total cube farm.

You sir are a gentleman and a scholar! Great tale, made me smile

I'm so glad I found this thread. I've been struggling for weeks on OHP. Can't get past 55 lbs, and I fail at least 2 sets every time. Will look into fractionals as well.

I just started running about six months agon and lifting around the first of the year. Right now I'm running 3-4 miles on non lift days and sometimes a mile after my lifts. Seems both are getting easier for me. I'm still at relatively low weight on my squats so that may change as I progress.

I was just wondering this myself. My level of soreness has declined dramatically over the past month or so. I'm experiencing more muscle soreness after running then after lifting.

Creamy peanut butter and sweet pickle sandwiches are amazing! I also do ketchup on my scrambled eggs (never considered this weird...but ok). Also love fried eggs over pan fried polenta with a little hot sauce and crushed red pepper.

I always weigh more at the Dr. office than at home, because I'm clothed, usually have food in my belly. I would record and use whatever your normal scale tells you. If you step on your bathroom scale every few days around the same time, under the same conditions you will get an accurate trend of your weight changes.

Hello, and welcome aboard Funship MFP. You've come to the right place for support and learning a healthy lifestyle. Best advice I can give is be consistent, log your food, log your exercise and never give up. Don't let a bad day drag you down. 16 pounds loss is great progress, keep it up!

Peanut butter and baked goods...I don't even go there

I can't sit still. Drives me absolutely nuts not to be active or doing something.

I'm similar. I lose a good couple pounds typically a week before TOM. However about 2 weeks prior I gain a bit. Just like clock work, every month. Week of and week after I may lose a little, but my most significant losses are the week or so before.

I've donated quite a bit to Goodwill, but I've also held on to quite a bit as well. The last time I lost a significant amount of weight and had donated a bunch of clothes, I regretted it when I gain a lot back. Not that I'm planning on going that route again, once I get to maintenance and hold for a year, I will donate the…

I usually accept everyone, but for those who have a closed profile, once I've accepted them I'll do a quick scan. If they don't seem like someone I'd interact with or they have a lot of whiny drama in their posts then they usually get deleted just as quickly as they were accepted.
