  • Ok I just tried to plan a days worth of meals and failed completely to reach all of the goals. When I didn't have enough calories I tried adding in extra things like cheese and nuts, and then I ended up with too much protein. So I cut back on the yogurt and meat, and then I didn't have enough calcium or calories! The only…
  • eek! i think i'll add in an extra chicken breast to the stir fry tonight!
  • Yeah i'm taking a multivitamin and fish oil tablets with added selenium daily. I definitely need to up my protein level and calories, and iron level, but i HATE livers and stuff, so i'm not really sure what i can eat to do that.
  • I'm more about maintaining my weight right now, but do you think increasing my cals will affect my weight or just stay the same until i start eating too many calories?

  • I fail to see it too!! I think I might start drinking more milk and adding nuts onto my meals to get the calories up.
  • Thanks for that you answered my question as soon as i posted it! :)
  • Yeah i thought about eating stuff like that, but if I eat more of those small, high-calorie foods, what will happen if one day I replace them with a bigger, lower-calorie equivalent as a snack, like some bread or veggies? will i get bloated again or will my stomach have expanded?
  • If I start from say 800 calories daily, how long do you think I should take to get my intake up to 1500? thanks
  • I thought that I might've been severely undereating, but the thought just occurred to me; since I lost all that weight at such a slow rate doesn't that mean I was actually consuming enough calories to not just drop off more than a kilo a week? So maybe I was subconsciously eating more than 600 calories... Thanks anyway!!
