I gained 20 pounds after my back surgery last March. I'm still trying to get it off -- plus the 15 I gained while trying decide if I should have back surgery.

I have the exact same issues. When things get busy, I get off track with my eating and exercise. Would also love some ideas from others about how to manage all of that.

Only thing is...you should really wash them or get some new ones occasionally. The stuff you put in is not always super clean! I saw a special on TV once where they checked for bacteria and found more than any of us would want touching our groceries!

At lunch time I add what I plan to eat for dinner so I know what my parameters are for the rest of the day, i.e. how many snacks I can have. Afternoon is a difficult time for me. I can go off the rails easily with the snacks.

It sounds to me like you are losing too quickly. Slow down!!! You don't want to boomerang back up as soon as you stop dieting.
