Those are really good questions. I would say that I'm more rewards motivated, but I don't tend to follow through. When I hit my last mini-goal, I said I would get a pedicure, but never got around to doing it. I love challenges, though. Maybe I'll look into a group. I find the doing something you hate for a bad choice is…

I would love to meet up with everyone! I do have a luncheon on Saturday but any time after would be fun. I'll be arriving on Wednesday and leaving on Monday if anyone will be there early, too.

You totally need to focus on yourself. You need to like and love yourself before anyone else does. And you need to know that IT IS OK TO BE SINGLE. You do not need a man in your life to show that you have a good life. Learn to live and respect yourself an not think about trying to hook up with someone. Find activities and…

Talk to a doctor, or two. I get really bad ones during my TOM and my Obgyn told me that I could take the active pills of my birth control all year round. So I don't have a TOM anymore, which is the best thing in the world to me. Also, you might want to consult a neurologist. There are medications nowadays that are…

I wouldn't trust the MyFitnessPal Stats at all. I got a HRM a few weeks ago and I was shocked on how little calories I burned, especially in comparison to MFP. I have never tracked my calories with an elliptical or treadmill so I don't have any advice on that. They don't "average" the calories, they have a default weight…

It may be that you get migraines from certain foods, not how much you eat. I have suffered from migraines since I was 15 years old. Back then there were not a lot of drugs to help, but now there are. There are medications that can help prevent as well as treat once you get one. I don't know if you have talked to a…

I have a bad knee right now and swimming has been a great way to get my cardio in. I have been using the Pulsar F7 and it works great in the pool. I like that I can track my individual calorie burn and not rely on what MFP might suggest. I also got myself a waterproof shuffle to play music and books on tape when I swim. It…

I set my goals at 10 lb increments. Once I hit 180 I changed it to 170. For me it is less overwhelming looking at 30+ lbs that I want to lose and just focus on the next few lbs. After 170 I'll probably change it to 5 lb goals. You can do it this time, we are here for you!

That all looks right. If you look at MFP and it says 1280 and most days you are burning 350 calories, then you should be eating back your burned calories and eat 1630/day. And if you look at your TDEE-20% is 1680, then they are both right about the same thing. You should be fine between 1500-1700 calories a day. The last…

To be able to finish up my half marathon training in January for the Tinkerbell half and not have my knee give out on me anymore. Less weight means less pressure. And fit back into my size 10 jeans.

Run. Or any other type of exercise. If I'm at work and can't handle much more, I go and take a walk around the lake we have near our building. Taking Pilates at lunch a couple times a week also helps. And this will help you with your goal of getting healthier. And sometimes screaming helps. ;)

I use to be an evening runner/exerciser but a few years ago my scheduled changed so that I'm running or going to the gym early in the morning before I go to work. It took me awhile to acclimate myself to that schedule, but once I did it for a few weeks I was hooked. If I'm going out to run first thing in the morning after…

I found the cheapest pair of tri-shorts online. They have been working out well. I was just going to wear one of my tight running shirts but I joined a training group and broke down and bought one of they tri-tops. I am defiantly wearing a sports bra under. I haven't had any issues yet, but I haven't done a swim then…
