Because I eat ice cream every night!

Yes, I eat my exercise calories. My body needs fuel, and I want to keep the muscle that I have, not lose it from having too much of a deficit. MFP already figured your deficit to lose weight, I don't need to make it any bigger but not eating them back. Plus, I like food. It's working for me. Edited to add that I do use an…

I pretty much eat what I want, just work it into my day...all about the moderation. I have ice cream just about every single night.
-
I agree, your body needs fuel, eat!
-
Thanks! I will have to try these, I have a Vitatop almost daily!
-
I haven't tried it yet, but someone mentioned that they make little mini pizza's with portabellos. No crust, add the pizza toppings to the mushrooms. Sounds good to me!

I definitely see the difference! Good for you!! Wtg!

At my highest I was 322, I started MFP at 299. This is the best site and has made such a difference in my life. You can always get help here. I've finally figured out that its NOT a race. I'm not going to get to go back to eating whatever I want, whenever I want when I've lost the weight, so what's the rush? I still have a…

I weigh what you weigh. I eat mine back. Why deprive yourself when you don't have to? Plus, I want to keep the muscle that I have, since it burns more calories.
-
I'd say its a victory! We have to have the good stuff, and you didn't go back to your old ways! Rock on!
-
I know I'm going to crave ice cream late at night, so I log it in my diary and save the calories.
-
Sorry, no help here. I'm starving after I workout hard. I just eat!!
-
Yes, I eat my exercise calories back.

I'm not a sandwhichy person, but I love the cinnamon raisin toasted with a little smear of cream cheese on top. Yum! Also, yes, its a good bit more expensive than regular bread, but I leave mine in the freezer, and I only have a slice at a time, so it lasts plenty long.

I am SO not a morning person. I actually work til midnight the night before, but if I'm going to work out, I need to do it early in the morning. I never want to get up, but I know that I have to. I treat it like a job in my mind, its just something that I have to get up and go do! I always enjoy it when I'm there, its just…

I broke a chair once! We were all eating dinner at my Mom's house and next thing you know POW! I'm on the floor looking up at everyone! Granted, the chair was 30 some odd years old, and kind of creaky but STILL! I'm glad I was surrounded by my own family though or I would have been so embarrassed! We CRACKED UP! I still…

MFP overestimated my burns by a good bit. I think investing in an HRM was the best thing I could have done, so glad I did.

I have ice cream just about every night. I have the calories, I've eaten good, healthy food all day long, and it helps me stick to this whole lifestyle change.
-
So proud of you Beef! You are rockin' it!! Glad to call you friend! :-)
-
Yes, I eat my exercise calories and enjoy every last bite!
-
You are looking GREAT Cassie! I'm so proud of you my friend! Keep it up!
-
No thanks, I really like food! I usually eat around 1800 a day or more.
-
I've only tried the Blue Cheese dressing and the Chocolate sauce. Neither was terrible but not wonderful either. If you use a small amount of the dressing you get the flavor fine, but if you use too much it does have that chemical taste. I also used the chocolate sauce on strawberries and I thought it was pretty good.

My net calories were just reset to 1480 today but with exercise I usually eat well over 1800. There is no need to starve!
-
I eat back my exercise calories. It's not stopping my weight loss. Why deprive yourself when you don't have to? Your body needs fuel!
-
You look amazing and should be so proud! Working on getting there myself!
-
I agree with others, try eating more. You're way under on several days that I looked at.
-
Lot's of places have menu's and nutritional info available online. If possible, I try to look that all up and plan what I'm going to have ahead of time.
-
I eat Mongolian BBQ fairly often and what I have is actually lower in calories than my normal meals!

Yes, I use my Polar HRM, and I do enjoy eating my exercise calories. Yes, I'm losing just fine.
