Great job! It looks like your friend may have lost some weight with you? Support from friends can make the process much easier. Enjoy your success

Great results! It's always wonderful to see the progress made from beginning to end, knowing that you kept at it through good days and bad. Congratulations on your achievements.... and the baby

I felt great finally getting in there and doing it! Yeah, pretty dang sore today though lol.

In case anyone wanted an update, I did muster up some courage and did my first round of stronglifts! Two girls were lifting today and I ran to them and they were so helpful. Thanks everyone for your encouragement!

Thank You! There's only one trainer there and he's never available when I go in after work... at least so far. I don't think I chose a great gym, but it's cheap. That's a good idea, the idea of the bar itself is intimidating to me. I'm going to get in there and work with the dumbbells today to get used to being there.

Confession: I am being such a scaredy cat and I hate it! I started going to a gym last week with the intention of beginning strength training. I downloaded the stronglifts app and have watched the videos a billion times to get the form right. Every time I go in there and approach the weights, I see all those guys in that…

Great job! My stepson also has Asperger's and homework, especially math, was exhausting and sometimes even emotional. Trying to understand from him what was going on in the classroom was... challenging lol. When he graduated, we were all over the moon about it! Congratulations B)

Me, too... I go ahead and 'send positive energy', so to speak... and sometimes 'say' positive things 'in my mind', 'to' them (not that I think they can hear me, mind you... but things that I'm naturally thinking, and wish I could communicate to them, from wherever I happen to be, to wherever they happen to be, in the…

Geez, this is my neighbor! He is an "artist" and the music is his inspiration. Wish it would "inspire" him to clean up his dang yard once in a while... Oh this is my first post although I've been following it awhile, so... My confession is this thread "inspired" me to buy Talenti Sea Salt Caramel Gelato and I went through…

I recently bought a fitbit (about a month ago). I have it synced to MFP and I like that it holds me accountable for how much I move everyday. If I move less, it will adjust my calories for the day to a lower number, if I'm more active vice versa. I know some will say they don't like that it changes calorie numbers on their…

I would like to see more suggestions on brands and types of e-cigs to use too. I've been thinking about using them but there's a plethora!! Don't know where to start.

Thanks so much for sharing, congrats on your new healthy life! :flowerforyou:

If she's your friend, she should recognize when you needed help and gone to get the friggin' water!

Way to go, that was the first thing I noticed too, I felt more womanly with a slimmer waist!

I have to switch it up as well, but my go-to lunch is the Taylor Farms veggie tray. It has broccoli, carrots, almonds, cheese and a little ranch for about 370 cals. Love it!

I've reduced the sugar in my tea but couldn't let go all the way! Good luck, feel free to add me if you like :flowerforyou:
