I'm running a 5k on the 8th, a fund-raiser for my cousin's military unit; I'm doing another 5k memorial run on the 22nd, and then on the 29th, I'm doing yet another 5k- the Monster Dash. It's the one where I can dress in a costume, and it's one I'm most excited about! =)

The more I exercise, the more it curbs my appetite. I've always had a slow metabolism, so idk about the age thing. Muscle burns more though, so maybe less cardio and more weights.

There was a "workout facility" in the city where I used to live, and I used their one-week pass to try the place out. This place had several different machines... I thought they were relaxing, more than anything, but in my admittedly limited experience, there was no benefit to them.

It's not accurate on my predictions either, but the above advice about checking portion sizes and weights of foods is spot on. Double your water too.
